PBL6 now nearly 50% funded. Incidently anyone notice when its due to drawdown? Did I miss something? I thought it wasn't even guaranteed to draw down. On the loan description SS have said: " The loan has not gone live yet but Lendy Ltd will cover any interest accrued should the loan not go live". Wasn't sure, ilmoro, whether you were asking because you don't know, or because you've seen something interesting about it

It says cashback for pre-drawdown investment so was wondering how long before that offer closed but your right that it may not even happen so there wouldnt be a date. Got distracted by the big red writing and automatically equated 'going live' with 'drawdown.'

As far as I am aware SS don't send email alerts out on roll-overs. However, they have posted their intentions to roll loans over on here a couple of times, and if you have any funds in the loan you get an email alert that its repaid just before it goes live again. The email sent to current investors made no mention that the loan was being renewed, just that the loan had been repaid and that the funds were 'now available for re-investment in further loans or withdrawal'. So once again investors weren't given the chance to roll-over their investment or invest in the new loan, unless they spend all day in front of a computer with their fingers hovering over the keys on the off chance that the loan would be renewed. Still, diversification is for wimps.

Still, diversification is for wimps. One thing that can be taken from that is once again the value of these forums is demonstrated as SS posted that loan was going to roll over and the other thing... The two things that can be taken from that are [...] and the other is not to expect the info to be accurate as they said the loan would roll on 31/7 or 1/8 whereas it was actual today and the third thing is ... The three things that can be taken from that are [...] and [...] and the third thing is that noone expects SS loans when they launch. Their chief weapons is surprise, and ... Ok Ill stop now, its getting silly!

Still, diversification is for wimps. I did literally laugh out loud at that, Duane Dibley! As it happens, I have sold off a few boats to shift to longer term investments this week, and they got snapped up very quickly - there's clearly a great demand for diversification on SS.

A few hours in and it has only just reached 25% funded, slowest take-up ever on savingstream with only 127k loaned against it in that time. Looks like a proportion of that has come from other PBL loans being sold on SM and diversified into it, so not new money just a re-cycling exercise. Not sure this one is going to fill without an additional cashback incentive. Maybe too many savvy investors waiting to see what the next move will be, and as there is a similar sized PBL at stage 3 wondering if SS will need to put the incentive back in to boost investment. Last additional cashback generated >£300k in less than 7 days so the money seems to be available if the right platform ask the right people in the right way. My memory is a bit different here - I seem to recall PBL002 took many, many days to fill, so I'm not finding PBL 006 that slow really - but I may be misremembering. I don't think this is going to take all that long to fill really - maybe a few days, but doubt if it will be much more - time will tell if I'm right. I got more of the lifeboat money back than I was allowed to put back in, so most of that went straight into PBL 006, mainly because I don't think it will be offering more. If I'm wrong I'll liquidate something else to put more in then. Well ramblin rose might well be on the ball here. PBL06 now only needs 27% more to fill after some 3-4 days only. Well predicted. I have not invested yet due to lack of funds but hoping the loan will drag on for a few more days until I get some interest from another loan paid, which I can in turn invest here & take advantage of the cashback offer to boot.

j1 (I mean j) - there was an email on this, just in case you missed it: PBL006 is scheduled to go live at 5pm tomorrow, at which time the cashback period ends.

Well, I was actually preparing to accept defeat soon . It has slowed down immensely in the past 24 hours. I'm still pretty sure it won't be offering any extra cashback, but my 'few days' might turn out to have been 'a fair few days'. Having said that, I've noticed in the past that the larger loans seem to gain a bit of momentum towards the end as lenders start to realise their opportunity for the cashback is slipping away (ignoring PBL 005 which was kicked up the fundament at the end to get it shifted, but then that did have a whole £1M to fill even after the underwriter had taken their slice).

Thanks Vero, I did pick the email very late last night after posting though. I will just have to miss on the cashback (only 0.5% but every little helps!) & invest in a few days when I can get some extra funds. You win some & lose some.

So, the question is, will there be any of the loan left unfilled by the 5pm cashback cut off? Less than £50K left with just over 2 and a half hours to go.

Q1 Yes, about 38k I reckon Q2 How much will we see of the loan on the SM following drawdown. Here's hoping SS is the land of investors not flippers.

Doubt that a huge amount will appear, until there's something new to put the money into. It hasn't happened on the other loans so far, at any rate.

PBL006 has caught fire today it's been so hot.
£32,086.94 to go and still 26 minutes remaining before the cashback expires.
