I like Kuflink and have a fair bit invested there. I particularly like that they invest 20% into each loan and this leads me to my question.
I am curious as to where Kuflink sources their portion. I am not nosing around for any commercially sensitive details but wonder whether or not this is sourced through other P2P lenders. If so, then maybe lenders who are spread across other platforms as well as Kuflink are also on the hook for that 20% in the event of any default.

Hi keith, Thank you for your question. Our stake in each investment is funded via the bridging arm of the business and is from our own provision fund. We will never sell our stake on. The stake we have in each investment is on a first-loss basis so in the event that the loan goes into default, we would lose our stake before any of our investors on the platform. Kind regards, Danny

Most - please remove duplicate posts (internet glitch of some sort). There seems to be a problem deleting them from my end. Done .

Kind regards, Danny So what says 70% LTV is actually 56% bearing in mind K's first loss (I'm talking about select-invest), but we can be certain that K don't have any doubts about the project But it seems to me that most (all?) of the loans come from the immediate area of where K's offices are, so I guess you know the borrower well.

Hi shimself, Although our max LTV is 70%, with our 20% stake, this would decrease the overall max LTV for investors to 56%. So your understanding is correct. We do have some deals that are based locally to ourselves however, the majority of the deals that we have on the platform are in different locations across the country. Kind regards, Danny
