I'm not saying that this wharehouse has or does not have vibration controls and thermal controls. It may. I've seen such places being wonderful or in a cage next to the office, behind the coffee machine where the forklifts rumble all day and night and the door opens letting in blasts of hot or cold air. You tell me which it is. The term "bonded" does not tell me or you one way or the other. Does vibration, light, heat or humidity affect wines? Yes Does it affect price at auction? Well the way to get the best price for a wine is to have a certificate of storage for all its life, often called the provenance of the wine. But some suckers clients will pay top price knowing nothing. It's a bit like art. You know what you like, but once you get above £2k for a painting you are not buying it because you like it as much as you believe it is a store of value. If enough people think it really is a store of value they may pay you what you want. See my previous musings up the line of this thread. "wb"? The wine is stored under the control of Unbolted parnter IG Wines at London City Bonds (https://www.lcb.co.uk/). Here is more information on storage www.igwines.com/content/customer-service/storage/Thanks for the feedback rito. That has answered lots of questions that were not indicated as being dealt with for this loan. It does give lots of reassurance to see what great outfits you have teamed up with. I love the way the web page fit my phone screen. I love the mission statement for lcb. Thank you once again. Bobo its great to see this sort of thing in a video. Not so sure on some of the handling practices but that was probably just whisky anyway😉

I agree that it may pay early dermot. Anyone have experience of getting a refund of tax from the US government care to comment on standard timeframes please? A friend of mine works for one of the larger companies in the US that calculate and file your taxes for you. He tells me: "I'll be handling pretty low volume, like 40,000 returns a day, right now, ramping up to maybe 300,000 returns a day a week before the due date, then over a million a day for the two days before due date of April15th" That being so, the table here provides some guidance: www.fool.com/taxes/2017/12/18/tax-refund-schedule-for-2018-when-can-you-expect-y.aspx1 person handling 1 million applications a day! Really? What is the working day length to give more than a fraction of a second to each application? A little like the 200 year old lawyer mentioned elsewhere methinks. I do like the data on the links however. It shows that the likelihood of receiving full repayment from the refund process by the refund advised deadline is unlikely to be before April 5th.

He is, of course, talking of the throughput of the vast array of computers he manages (being an IT person)... it is, I gather, a still growing industry ...

Not exactly a big appetite for this Loan despite it being "reasonable". £67,328.96 still available @ 14:58

stub8535, had a gander at the site to learn more and can't for the life of me see any list of Investors, etc. How/where do you know it's the Underwriters share being offered? I find Unbolted rather difficult to extract onscreen info from, lucky I trust 'em! So far.

It may have been supposition. I pledged a few bob to it on 7th Feb and eventually got an email at 13:10 on the 9th Feb telling me the money had been lent which I think stub8535 is taking to mean that it's drawn down so an underwriter must have been involved to shift the last chunk.

Chat to Rito And Experience of the platform. It is not the first time they have done this.

I don't think anyone is really interested in how long a US tax return takes anymore as the loan seems to have been accepted as a "Banker", but for anyone still interested in the speed of a US tax return, mine took just over 12 weeks.
I was non resident and paying tax in the US and the UK. I do not know how complex my situation was compared to the borrower, but I can assume he has to list a lot more finances and income from outside the US etc.
Could be a good 6 mother then??
