We are been made aware of speed issues for some users. The server platform is running fine, with plenty of resources available and no cause for concern.
The problem is currently being investigated - it appears that a localised network issue may be causing a slow response for some users.
We will update this thread when we have additional information.

not how I see it (I am ex IT) at the moment I can't connect to the server - brilliant - and yes my system is fine and I can connect to other p2p sites
just got onto the system and had a nibble- luckily this current loan is not filling as quickly as others although it is just about done now...

Other websites I connect are superfast. I'm not an IT expert but I guess this will affect some users for the jewellery loans renewing at 11am this morning.

No problems here as I seem to be experiencing lightening fast connection. I just hope it lasts until 1100AM...
...nope, it froze from 1059 to 1104!

Took me in excess of 4 minutes to get an unnavigable page..and by the time I had any worthwhile access anything I had an interest in had gone..and ive just done a speed test..86.1Mbps..complete waste of time

If it helps in the interim until FS sort this out, I for some reason have slightly more luck accessing the site via IE than I do via Chrome. YMMV.
Also, they've taken down the all loans page for maintenance, so I assume that the hamster is in the process of receiving CPR before being placed back onto the wheel of the FS server.

Worked very slow for me at 11am, took 5 minutes to have an attempt at one of the "blings" and get 2 property loans. Never experienced this with FS before.

Re: 'it appears that a localised network issue' - Sure, but it will be at your datacentre!
If your web servers aren't the bottleneck, then it will be your router(s) or bandwidth.
