Just to let you know you may not receive a promised cashback. That's what happened to my business partner. She signed through Quidco thinking that adding the promised cashback would equate to a very good return on the first investments. After patiently waiting over a month, Kuflink advised my partner she should email Quidco and raise a query about not receiving her cash back. That didn't help, in fact, she never received an answer from Quidco. Kuflink promised to make further inquiries but didn't do anything for another month. And she hasn't received a reply to her latest email to Kuflink sent a week ago. I wouldn't put my money with them if they can't resolve a simple cashback issue.

I don't invest with Kufflink and don'thave an opinion regarding the problem experienced by spyrogyra but I do wonder whether using third party cashback sites such as TCB and Quidco are worth the bad publicity for Kufflink? Tracking is never 100% and sorting out those that don't means referring people back to the cashback sites who deal with tens of thousands of these requests every day. Unless these sites really do drive significant traffic I'd of thought Kufflink would be better off offering an incentive under their direct control, no?

Nothing, as I said not even an email reply to the latest correspondence. Next step - Trust pilot and the likes.

Nothing, as I said not even an email reply to the latest correspondence. Next step - Trust pilot and the likes. Quidco and Kuflink are both FCA regulated, and as this is a financial product you have a valid complaint for mis-selling via unpaid financial incentive. Put in a Complaint, and then in 8 weeks you hear nothing, escalate it to the Ombudsman. You must put in a formal Complaint, people often will moan here and elsewhere but fail to act otherwise, the Complaint is the key here. Do that, and options rapidly open up. I really don't think this will be necessary and Kuflink will sort this out after viewing your post - I'd be very surprised if Danny doesn't come along and assist.

Nothing, as I said not even an email reply to the latest correspondence. Next step - Trust pilot and the likes. ang on, 'ang on....you said Quidco have said nothing, but if you've followed the process of raising an enquiry for missing cashback (?) then this should be visible within your account screen. They may then take absolutely ages to respond to it, but it doesn't sound like they have actually responded -? So, first, you need a response from Quidco, suggest chasing them by either live chat or e-mail. If your claim is ultimately rejected, then what I did with a new BT account claim was write to Quidco addressing it as a formal complaint. They seem to have a proper complaints team who would actually look at the fact that I clearly had an account with them opened at the same time I clicked through quidco, and eventually got my money. Agree with Dan though, just seems so much additional potential faff to offer a bonus via cashback websites.

A few years ago, shortly after signing a new contract for mobile phone services, I was left with no phone signal and internet connection while traveling in Scotland. It turned out that they made a mess with the setting of the direct debit. Through no fault of mine, the first payment failed and I got automatically disconnected. It took days to sort the mess and the operator's customer service offered me a compensation of .... 6 GPB. Why 6? Because I didn't have signal for 3 days and as my package was 60 per month, the clever guy with Indian accent thought 6 GBP would be a fair compensation. I asked for 100, and I made it clear that if they don't agree on 100, I'll claim 500 through an official complaint. After 4 months and a couple of official letters to the regulatory body, I received a cheque for 500. But I wasn't happy, the time, the nerves I wasted, weighted more than the 500.I couldn't forget the bitter, insulting offer of 6GPB. Since then I claimed only once an easy 20 for a bank blunder. I've created the thread so that others would expect similar problems receiving the cashback. Worth mentioning Kuflink were warned that bad feedback is to follow and didn't reply! I can't comprehend how p2p platforms can't understand that dealings with investors should be much more effortless. On the other hand, recently Mintos put back into my account over 250 EUR confessing to an ill advice from one of their web chat boys. That was done quickly - in a matter of 2-3 days, even though quite a lot of checking needed to be done. With no arguments, with decency and apologetically. It's a pity that many UK platforms look down on investors. So far I've been disappointed by SS (aka Lendy),FC, FS, FK. Moneything is on the edge of the slippery road.

Hi spyrogyra , With regards to the payment of cashback through affiliates, and in particular this case outlined above, we initially advised the investor (your business partner) that cashback had been paid into their Quidco account. They replied that this was not the case as they hadn’t received the monies. However, this was verified a second time by Quidco themselves and the investor was informed a second time. I responded to their most recent email on Monday 12th February with a screenshot of the response from Quidco. I received no further reply after this. Kuflink has done as much as possible to ensure that our investor has been paid the cashback they are due, as we do with all investors who come via affiliates. We ensure that payment is made directly to the relevant third parties and then it is with Quidco etc to allocate the funds to their customers account. Kind regards, Danny

Kind regards, Danny Danny, we appreciate you do try to resolve issues with cashback These issues would not seem to have arisen however if the same cashback was offered directly. If you feel Quidco/TCB open you to a larger audience, why not offer a direct and affiliate cashback routes for the best of both worlds Your customers have had numerous complaints about the affiliate cashback not working, you really should listen to your customers and provide an alternative solution. I am sure you could find a better use for your time too than having to sort out issues with cashback

I too had problems receiving cashback from Kuflink, through Topcashback. It eventually arrived but only after a huge amount of chasing. I originally got the impression that it was mainly a fault on the topcashback side, but given people have had problems with Quidco too, it seems the problem was broader than this. (Although I never thought there was any dishonesty.)
Completely agree with stevio - it would save investors and Kuflink a lot of trouble to offer the cashback directly (as an option).

It took a while for sure (two months from initial investment), but today I finally received my cashback from TCB. The advertised 5.5% morphed into 5.25% without any explanation from TCB, but apart from that, glad to see the payout, and happy to respond with a new investment in Kufflink. Hope they know what they are doing.

I can't comment on Quidco, but my experience of Topcashback has been good. I started lending on Kuflink as a result of the Topcashback offer. In the case of Kuflink, my click-through was tracked but apparently not my initial lending that triggers the cashback. On the Topcashback Customer Care tab there is a facility to chase untracked or incorrect claims which shows the date and time of all recent click-throughs. On the 3 occasions I have needed to chase a claim with different retailers it has always been dealt with properly, as in the Kuflink case. It is also possible to add a "nudge" to get Topcashback to prioritise a claim. Kuflink were happy to confirm to me that my cashback would be paid. If Kuflink is having difficulty with the Topcashback tracking system Olivia, hari, it is the second step that is failing. I do think this is a good promotion and is probably bringing new customers to the platform. As far as I know Kuflink has also offered some cashback promotions on their own site or by email to existing lenders.

Hi kaya, I am glad to hear that you have received your cashback. Just to let you know, we pay 5% cashback through TopCashback and Quidco. Any additional on top of this is paid by them directly as an added incentive. Apologies that you did not receive the advertised rate. I would recommend chasing this with them so that you receive the rate you were supposed to. Alternatively, please PM me with details and I will chase this with TopCashback from my end. Kind regards, Danny

Due to an unexpected (hopefully positive) turn, my investment with Kuflink has been delayed, but still firmly on the cards, hence I am monitoring this forum. I just hope that the TCB incentive doesn't disappear before I get the opportunity to avail (that would likely delay it indefinitely, as I like the idea that I can use that as a buffer to cover any under-performance on a test investment)! Can anyone confirm if the TCB payout for Kuflink is limited to BACS payout (rather than giftcard)?

The cashback can be transferred to your reward wallet for even better rewards, like Zeek. I can also get cashback for signing up Zeek as well, plus other goodies. :-)
