I've made 5 debit card payments. All were credited to my account within 24 hours, even at weekends. Most were within a couple of hours.

I have started using Welendus and I like it (have also invested via Seedrs as it happens...). However, I would like to see a cap in £s (rather than %) added as an option because I am willing to increase the amount I have on the platform but not the amount I lend per borrower/loan. Accordingly, for now at least, I have reached the cap of how much I am willing to invest. Edit just to tag nsiam who I see has said this will be worked on above, which is positive, however I would have thought it is a simple change and so hopefully can be prioritised and implemented fairly quickly.

Nsiam, Could you consider these features as possible developments: 1. The option to merge selected investments, in order to make management easier. As i keep drip feeding more into my account, the number of individual investments will become difficult to monitor. 2. It would be interesting to see the current average interest rate in each investment and also the average interest rate for the whole portfolio. Thanks, Neil

Nsiam, would you be able / willing to comment on how priority is given when lending out funds.
For example: suppose investor A funded his account and was prepared to lend at any rate, 5 - 15% and, soon after, investor B said he would only lend at 15% . If two loans became available, one at 10 % and one at 15%, would investor A get both of them because his money was in the pot first, or would A get the 10% and B get the 15%, so that two investors are satisfied, but A loses out on the higher rate?

It would be interesting to hear the answer from nsiam . My guess is - the queue is the queue, so it would be logical and fair if investor A gets both loans.

Hi nyneil, In the situation above, Investor A will get the first pick of the 10% AND 15% loans. If there is still remaining sum to be funded on each loan, this will be allocated to Investor B. Hope this answers your questions. Best, Nadeem

Hi lendinglawyer, We have this feature in our pipeline, we are just working on few other updates so we have to have some sort of priorities here. This feature will come soon. Best, Nadeem

Hi nsiam, is that because A funded first or because her lower rate band prioritises her investments over the greedy B?

I've just signed up for Welendus and whilst the process was kind of OK, it could do with a bit more explanation in places. For example, a mobile phone number is asked for and entry of it is compulsory. It needs to be explained that it is used for a text message confirmation. The payment screen is also a bit in your face; I wanted to sign up and look around BEFORE putting in the £1000 minimum. I did that eventually.

Minimum Investment is £100. Evidently, I'd missed that option.
Just so that others are forewarned, on the "add investment" page you have 4 buttons you can press; from left to right, £1k, £5k, £10k and "other amount". Nowhere on that page is a minimum mentioned, so the "obvious conclusion" is that it's £1k, being the lowest visible number. How wrong can you be....
If you click on "other amount" you get "minimum investment £100".
This shows why looking around the site before committing is a good idea.

Always a good idea to pre- read terms & conditions.
