Might mean speedier processing of renewals!

Some notice would have been appreciated! I put some parts up for sale which I aimed to cancel at 10pm if not sold. Poor comms.

I find it inconceivable that investors would not be informed of a planned upgrade. Maybe there's something more sinister afoot and we're just beig sent to a generic holding page?

The Collateral site is still offline, officially for an unplanned server upgrade, after more than 15 hours. Even an unprofessional organisation could do better than that, working trough the night if necessary. This is totally unacceptable and in my opinion might show some bigger issues which we are not (yet) told. There is no such thing as an "unplanned server upgrade". System admins don't decide on a whim to take a production server offline and stick an upgrade on it, at least not at any competent organization. As a financial Services organization I'd be extremely surprised if this was the case for Collateral. I find it hard to believe Collaterals splash page, if it s a planned upgrade why was it not announced to investors before hand? Why has a planned upgrade taken so long, if they ran into difficulties they should have backed the change out and gone back to the drawing board for a later date (all upgrades should have a backout plan in place). This to me stinks of a catastrophic system failure, so bad that Collateral don't want to admit they have an issue yet. Clarification from Collateral Rep would be welcomed.

I too had no idea about the systems issue until I saw posts on here yesterday. Nothing was discussed about systems at my last meeting. At the first meeting, as we wrote in our report I think, we were given details of how their systems are set up. I think that the main computing system is in London somewhere with a backup data storage somewhere else. If the system is down it is possible that it is their IT supplier thats having issues. These are personal thoughts and not based on any comms had in the last few days. As usual we see the forum whipping itself into a frenzy of catastrophe. Be aware of none investors posting as well to support their ulterior motives. Be careful what you wish for. If one platform goes many will follow.

Phoned the switchboard and got through to a receptionist. She had little info to give apart from the upgrade could be 3-4 days. She suggested contact via info@collateraluk.com for more details. Would not give phone details but agreed to pass on my message requesting a callback.

I would have thought it prudent to give some information, even if it is just to acknowledge the fact that the website is down. The silence is rather worrying.
