Evie (live chat) advises the auction went ahead and net sales proceeds will be advised in due course.

My guess is half our money back. Fortunately I only have a small investment in both loans.

Surely this isn't difficult to work out? Am I missing something?

Maybe an hour's work on a simple spreadsheet?

Yes we have been getting small amounts over the last few months. "Slowly Slowly catchy monkey (or whatever sum you invested :-) ) I think we will eventually get all capital and at least some interest.

I do wonder if the funds yielded from sales have all gone to the loans backed by the specific sold asset. We will just need to trust FSπ

I think Trust is a word that is not in the vocabulary of some p2p lenders replaced by either "Greed or Avarice" Perhaps Trust is a word for an older generation that ponders life a bit more than the "snowflakes"

We will just need to trust FSπ I don't see why they wouldn't, what would be a point for FS to distribute the funds equally across all of them? I'm in probably all "train tranches" and so far the repayment amounts are different for each, some had no repayments yet. This tells me that proceeds from sales of assets go to loans related to specific security items.

You may well be right. We have no way of knowing as transparency is not a strong suit of FS.

So I asked LiveChat the following "Please commit to a date on which you will publish the results of the auction".
Response: "We are still processing the figures at the moment but once we have completed this the loan pages will be updated". Me: "Are you talking a few days or weeks or months?" Response: "This is all of the information I have at the moment, but I have requested an update be made onto the loan pages as soon as we have some further information" Me: "Can you ask the manager to provide an estimate of when the analysis will be complete? " Response: "We do not have a set time period but an update should be posted on the loan in the week to ten days." Pulling teeth!

Me: Please provide anticipated date for release of auction results for loan 9899194706 Stacie: Hi Eric, one moment and I will take a look Stacie: Apologies for the delay, I was trying to gain full information but unfortunately I do not have the exact dates for the auction. As soon as we have further information we will update the loan but the auction is scheduled for the end of this month Me: The auction was three weeks ago. I want to know when you will publish the result? Stacie: Sorry Eric! We are just waiting on confirmation from the auction and as soon as we have the final figure and the outcome from the auction we will update the loan. I will chase this up with the person in charge of the loan Me: No! I was told a week ago that you already had the results and were analyzing them. I want to know the results of the analysis. Stacie: Yes we do not have the outcome from the analysis yet however as soon as we do we will update the loan page Me: when will that be? It's been over three weeks already. Stacie: We will hopefully have a further update towards the end of this week. I will chase this up with the person in charge of the loan Eric Thx. Bye. Stacie Have a nice day

This constant use of "update" to refer to meaningless twaddle used as an excuse for not giving a proper update is really starting to annoy me
below is from the OED
update : 1 Make (something) more modern or up to date.
1.1 Give (someone) the latest information about something.
If there is no change in not having a scoobie's about a loan progress then that is not an update!
Sounds like the FS staff have been told to use "update" by a spin-meister so that it sounds professional and improves customer confidence - well it doesn't.
It would be better English and more honest to say " the chances are that nothing has changed but we will confirm this in another meaningless comment"
I just can't wait for the nitty-gritty updates for Whitehaven etc!
