Red flag: Plethora of criticism on this forum. I would warn against this! The tide of populism has reached this forum and new platforms with young debt and few defaults become forum darlings and older platforms with maturing, unpaid debt become pilloried. The punishment that platforms such as FC get is arguably more about hubris (because they don't engage with this forum) rather than based on fact. New platforms with chatty forum reps get an easy ride on this forum that has led to many investing more than they should - beware of this artificial warm feeling. Equally if you can see beyond the populist noise there are platforms that forumites love to hate who are quietly managing their defaults and delivering realistic returns. Jack P

Jack P I guess my previous posting was a bit simplistic. If one takes platform critiques at face value without carefully analysing the issues raised, I agree with you. However if one reads the postings carefully to cut through the superficial noise then I believe they can yield useful information regarding lenders confidence in the platform.
