I fancy getting a VERY LARGE P2P loan to buy & develop a large pile of brickwork, possibly a castle, then stop paying, procrastinate for yonks, then disappear to a nice country with no extradition treaty with the UK. St Petersburg is nice, beautiful architecture, cheap vodka, & no questions asked as to where your cash came from. Seriously, it'll probably go into UB & ABLrate, as these are the 2 that have the least of my P2P investments. Incidentally, did a quick calc on ROI on each of the last 11 months & it was: Lendy 7.5%
MT 9.15%
AC 5.92%
FC 7.23%

I might put it in my 2020-2021 IFISA. Since when did you get so optimistic?

We must believe that chicken reproduction is continuing normally within the existing flock. It's just that we cannot see them and cannot get to them. If we listen hard, we might just hear a faint 'cheep cheep' noise, and maybe the whistling of the attendants.

... what returned cash? Any one? Sorry, didn't quite get that. Could you use a bird-based metaphor please?

I do love an optimistic thread to keep the troops morales high.. But boringly i'll just be happy to get back to paying my bills on time, as the loss of £600 interest a month has really screwed me over, as with many other people I am sure..

It's not the geese (although I think it is in the singular so goose) but its eggs that we are waiting for and hoping it will be a busy little bird.

Now I understand. The farmer and his wife became greedy and decided to cut open the goose which laid golden eggs, to get the eggs out all at once. They found none. From the little we hear, the Col goose is being similarly treated by the Farmer-Adminstrator (gender and marital relationships being irrelevant). However, the golden-egg laying apparatus is believed to be segregated and not allowed to be subject to any knife-damage which might be inflicted on the Col goose by the Farmer-Administrator. The rest of the goose, the noisy fluffy part, can be divided among third parties, slowly and carefully, but we have to trust that the basic egg-laying mechanism, with golden eggs already in construction, will be delivered up to lenders - though not looking so good. Moral of the tale - be patient and not greedy, or you could lose what you would otherwise have.
