so you can buy , then sell, get the interest for the time you are in and then de risk ? cool ! This works for me so far with FS property loans. Two things to be aware of: 1. You have to apply discount in order to sell, so your return will be lower than headline interest, 2. It is a time consuming strategy. thanks DF, honestly, i’m just buying right now, as long as its property ( my game ) and i’m comfortable with the VR and the LTV i’m chucking in what ever i can, i mean, a load default and they recover 50% , whats different from a bank ? 8/9/10% thats what, even with defaults and the normal shenanigans you would expect when lending out in this market , at least its not mates in the pub i have to keep drinking with when they have lost my dough

thank you, thats all very clear and super helpful, one wonders if it’s just easier to keep it all in the bank ! i suppose half the fun is that you get a little involved with the loans on an emotional level and have the chance to make good interest if you pick good ones ! So far ive looked at FS and FC You can't pick loans on FC since 18 Sept last year. It is auto investment now - you can view, but don't have any control over your investments.

It will probably be lower this time next year. The other thing to beware: You don't want to overexpose yourself to a single loan because if it fails you may loose more than you've earned. On FS, one loan can be split into different facilities and tranches under different loan names, released at different times, and each of them will have a different loan number.
