Had to go and earn a stale crust yesterday evening so didn't log in till the wee small hours and was quite surprised to see no comments regarding the email from FS regarding renewals..any thoughts ?..presume we'll have to keep tabs now on every loan..well at least those that haven't already gone round the sun a few times.  |

As far as I understand, these changes won't affect me - I tick renewal for every loan I want to keep from the start. Pawn goes green and property stays orange.

This penalize everyone who works or can't be at the screen all the time. I can only make transfers at home which means I make a transfer once, in the mornings. The only way I can see round it would be to have a healthly balance in your account at all times. A thing that I don't like to have. I like my balance at FS to be zero at the end of the day.
I don't auto renew because I like to see the updates before hand. The only updates you get in the last six months. So not a happy owly.

I can see why they've done it, but I liked to read the latest update that (usually) comes with a renewal before deciding whether to remain invested.

So not a happy owly.Agreed..like giving prisoners the keys to their cells and asking them to lock up every night..I never auto renew either..up until now id rather lose the loan but be assured of the capital back than renew into something where (possibly) the loan progress has changed or a revised completion looks likely or any number of unforeseen circumstances can and do appear. if it means losing a few..so be it. Ive been out all day and had to check in regularly throughout ..difficult if driving..not to say illegal. Ive got through today but think ive been lucky. Even managed to get a nibble on The Italian job  ...on a mobile too..that was a surprise

Trying to look at a small positive it may mean more people not auto-renewing or forgetting to and potentially could be more to purchase at renewal. Appreciate clutching at straws a little here.
As a part time worker though only have access to mobile about 4/5 times a day and it is frustrating to see an email at coffee to say loan coming shortly and went live 10 minutes ago! I need to organise coffee breaks at about 5 to an hour 7 times a day!
