Has anyone actually been able to invest yet? It usually only takes me a few attempts but after around 15 attempts and sitting in a boiling hot study, my patience is wearing thin....... At 96% filled.

I got in straight away. There was only £4k invested ahead of me. It seemed to whizz by up to about £250k, but it looks like we are in deadlock territory for the last £50k

Yes, I was there as it opened and spent my £3k with one try, though it took a while to do. Then Mrs Blender took a little longer after one 'concurrent' reject. It seemed to stop at 95% after 5 mins. Probably a problem with the end game - who gets the dregs.

The system struggled. I hid bid as soon as the countdown finished - which curiously was about 20 seconds later than 1.00pm. On two browsers - one for each a/c. After 1 error message and much churning both deposits were processed within the first couple of minutes. Got to 96 per cent within 5 minutes but currently not filling the last few percent - approx £15k as at 1:10 pm...

Stuck at 96% after 6 mins. Clearly the ABL autobrake's kicked in.

On other platforms I'd still be keen, but I would probably not have been allowed a £3k bite (or 2x£3k if you have an ISA, or N*£3k if your spouse, offspring, and dog, all have accounts). The ablrate magic bullet is the SM which actually works like a market (and which I predict some of this loan will appear on, with a 5% markup, in short order).

My bid yeilded the following error message along with the car crash image... ... but the bid does show up under the "Bids on New Loans" tab, so seems like it succeeded anyway.

Come on ablrate , exactly the same fiasco as last time for me. More than 50 attempts, many different unsuccessful messages and a few car crashes. Then it's all gone. Why can't you implement some sort of queuing system rather than failing multiple bids when the system is "busy". At least we could enter a single bid, then wait and see if we were successful, and it would reduce the number of bids you had to process (by a factor of over 50 in my case).

Didn't plump for the first one, so didn't for this one. Left you lot to it .

Didn't plump for the first one, so didn't for this one. Left you lot to it . 50% ltv based on cost of capital 13%, 100% at 14% - perhaps cost is closer to 20% (and this particular project doesn’t appear to make any money at that rate) and perhaps you were right all along .
