Disappointed on no news as I think AC are an excellent company - see my other posts. If software or finance issues be transparent and say so. Far preferable to unkept promises then silence.

Doesn't the FCA give a company 1 year after authorisation to get the ball rolling, if so, this looks well past the launch date to me? I would understand the dealy if it were a new entrant to the P2P market, but for a company supposedly so well organised as Assetz, what is causing the protracted delay? On the 7th Nov (2018) I spoke to an Assetz rep at the finance expo in Olympia, London, and much to my surprise, he said he has no idea as to what is happening with Assetz Exchange regarding a launch date or anything else. Don't these guys even talk over a coffee as to what is happening in their company?

The public launch of the website is in the new year and the Seedrs campaign hasn’t gone live yet - someone posted the private pre-campaign link on this forum and hence the confusion.
The business is presently based in the previous Assetz building and Assetz Capital staff wouldn’t be close to any development in AE as it’s a different business under the same trademark.

Thanks Stuart - can I encourage earlier communication though? We understand things get delayed and transparency on such is valued. Btw have posted elsewhere very impressed with your recent Christmas cracker cashback. Maintaining full liquidity at withdrawal date in the QAa was impressive and gives confidence generally. The biggest challenge to this market is confidence in the platforms - if that is cracked the sector has a very bright future.

I'm not sure that misleading potential investors about launch dates, inviting pre-registration of interest and then following up with absolutely zero communication to those who do, are doing much to promote confidence in the platform, IMHO.

An awful way to try and start a business. I registered for the equity raise but nothing much was raised (not surprisingly given the failure to start the platform) and in spite of a couple of requests to explain what was happening, heard absolutely nothing. It must also reflect poorly on AC and it's common shareholders.

Ive invested a small amount to see how it works. Only way is via Bank transfer, and my money seems to be 'in transit' at the moment.
There isnt much invested so maybe its all 'in transit' or few else are investing.

Update. Money arrived this morning ( so next working day). Email confirmation.
Ive put a bit on the only property ( £10 min per property) as a toe in the water. A few others have obviously done same as you can see the total invested in each property and its gone up slightly
