Problem is that much of the current defaulted/suspended loan book looked decent quality at the time.

I have to agree with SteveT. Its not so much the endless "aren't Lendy terrible" posts by a handful of forumites, I'd also balk at a "Isn't Lendy great" post too. I think the point is such posts (and all posts in fact) should ideally have new information or be someone's opinion on that new information (but not repeated over and over).
I'm aware of the irony of this post not having anything new to say but at least it is a single comment on this meta topic.

I’ll be honest in that my main reason to post positive comments is to counterbalance the overly negative ones. I genuinely am happy with my investments on Lendy though

God, you guys are boring. The same repetitive moans and trolling from the same handful of posters, more or less daily, whatever a thread starts out about. This forum used to be a place of information sharing and debate, where the majority of posts were actually worth reading. Sadly your "noise" has drowned out any remaining "signal", and most members whose posts I used to value have gone elsewhere or given up entirely. Well done chaps, nice work. Well said. I more or less gave up reading this forum a while ago. It wouldn't surprise me if Lendy staff treat it, privately, as a joke. Half a dozen noisy moaners don't speak for the majority, despite what they might have convinced themselves.

To bring the thread back to the topic that was implied, I was also surprised that they released a gaggle of loan tranches at the same time. I'd have thought that it would've been better to stagger them slightly - if for no other reason than appearance management - ie. not create the impression of a glut - and perhaps even an air of scarcity among those who don't follow things so closely.

Are we on about this forum or investors?
No worries, I'll also treat Lendy as a joke until I see a decent outcome of Wolves. Especially given it was perceived as one of the more 'quality' Lendy loans.

The 'endless' negative reviews are useful in that it shows the existence of deeply unhappy lenders to Lendy, existing Lenders (who at some point may end up in the same boat) and prospective naive Lenders. This, within the irony that deeply unhappy Lenders need new prospective naive Lenders in order to get out of the platform they don't like.
Now, the way this needs to be resolved is for Lendy to acknowledge and prove they understand why these Lenders are unhappy and a plan of action (including change of policy etc) to resolve the issues. This is the best path for all of us.
What is not a way to resolve it, is for us to simply stiffle their voice. It's not a chicken and egg situation. Lendy farted, and unhappy smellers complain ... That's how the world works.
IF Lendy is indeed sitting around taking them (their customers) as a joke, then, like any commercial company, that is when it is the beginning of the end.
