Anyone else have this property? - "A number of extraordinary costs have already been incurred, and with the uncertainty surrounding responsibility for bearing the cost of replacing the cladding, we have no choice but to suspend dividend payments for the foreseeable future."
Sounds like it'll take a while to resolve.

Not sure, did you get an email?
Do you have the first 3 digits of the post code?
EDIT Is it HA8? If so I seem to have dodged that one.

Wish I'd seen that when the SM was still open... I've got a K or so in this, which I would expect to be worth a third less now, and tied up for a few years I would think. Selling my other tower blocks though, just in case.

Selling my other tower blocks though, just in case. I'm in this one, too. Thankfully not for much though. I would have thought we'd have been told by now if the other clad towers were similarly effected. Though it would appear that trading was suspended a while after they knew there was an issue so your approach may prove prudent.

people may be more suspicious of towers in general, affecting valuations even if there isn't a cladding issue.

The picture works Nottingham has cladding issues, too. Trading and dividend suspended.

"...represents less than 1% of the value of properties on our platform and is one of only two properties to experience problems of this nature."
Well, I'm 2/2. Hopefully that's it. Seems to be slightly less severe.
Received an update on the first one, sounds like they're going to wait on hopefully getting a favourable precedent in other similar cases.

Seems very harsh to the leaseholders. This might cost me a little, but nothing significant, but for those living in such a flat I feel very sorry. It doesn't seem right.

www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/sep/10/landlords-told-to-remove-grenfell-style-cladding-or-face-action"Landlords must remove dangerous, Grenfell Tower-style cladding from their buildings or face enforcement action, the government has warned. ... 293 private sector residential buildings had been found to have ACM cladding ... The MHCLG had not been informed of action plans for 200 of the buildings." Given the scale of it, seems to be an appreciation that expecting leaseholders to pay tens of £thousands is a bit harsh.

Hats off to Property Partner for buying back from me my shares in Premier House, Edgware at the original price I paid (an offer made to those with shares acquired via the SM after 17 August 2017, when they reckon that trading really ought to have been suspended)
