Just noticed that one of the new loans (Jewellery) went before I could even click refresh on the page to put in my investment. Is there a way to pre-load investments that aren't live yet, is this how/why I missed out? It was limited to £25 per investor in the first 24 hours as well.

It was a renewal of an existing loan, existing lenders can opt to stay invested. I doubt there was any available at all. ahhh, of course, makes sense.

It was 95% filled a few seconds after it went live... which meant that a total of around 4 investors (or perhaps more likely bots!) were able to snap up the remainder within a matter of seconds.
It's near on impossible to get a £25 slice of any new or renewing vehicle/jewelry loans on FS because the bots snap them up

The rates tend to be slightly lower (10% usually), and many items come up for renewal a large number of times. Is it because its an easy asset to sell if the loan is not repaid?
