Yeah, I've never got the bulk sale to work either with a markdown. Selling individually works though, so it's not as if the database is bouncing me because I have none available to sell. I just gave the 'Bulk Sale at a discount' a try on North Lothian on reading your post. For me it's working. Not sure what causing the trouble. I guess you did nothing special? That is, not tick any box, put in a number of pounds you want sold, put in a discount like -0.1 and lastly review sale?

Yes, but on trying to sell large amounts I've had to wait for the page to register what markdown I've just tapped in. So do wait, it seemed to respond when I kept putting my cursor in the markdown box. Then eventually the same markdown appeared in the slightly too small window next to each unit. Then the rest as you say...

The browser in use might be relevant to this markdown data entry prob. I'm using the new 64 bit version of Chrome for Windows and the bulk sales markdown didn't work for me, continually complaining about what I'd entered. At one stage it kept saying something like "markdown must be zero or less" whatever I typed. Roll on the site upgrade!

Sounds like you need to put a minus sign in front of your discount, although to be pedantic that would make it a premium.

I got those messages before I understood and saw the light. oldatheist has it. I find it awkward to use and sometimes it gave old results. Forgive my use of tense.

Well yes it worked for me just now, but it's strangely slow (markedly slower than the site in general), and I suppose you also had to fight your way past the little message telling you to enter a number in the markdown field for whatever reqason. Thanks for the encouragement

I appear to have been paid the normal rate interest due up till the 5th only - which makes sense - but no interest is showing as accrued since the 5th on the 'new' default rate loan. Does this discrepancy in displayed accrued interest normally occur, or is this going to turn into another of those things I'm going to need to keep an eye on?

Also notice that the loan is only making 1 payment at term with no intermediate interest payments. Already 4 queries on Q&A about whats going on. Urgently need some comms from AC to clarify. Would help if they moved the original update from the old loan to the new one. I just happened to see it earlier but I suspect most are in the dark Original loan is on p5 on loan archive. Comment says default interest accuring from 6/9 which would imply 2 days interest will appear from somewhere at some point

AFAIK This same sort of thing, in general happened with Bolton & Anglesey and perhaps another bridge too, I remember we discussed if we were getting the right interest as it seemed to be accruing at the old rate. Now as best as I can remember either we were getting the correct rate or it was corrected later. In fact I think one was wrong and later correct and one it was correct but we suspected it was wrong. So yes this sort of thing is normal, but I can't comment on exactly the interest not showing.

If we're being paid default interest from the 6th, then I'm expecting 3 days interest to appear (overnight 5th, 6th and 7th) or have I got everything muddled? You see, this is what I find irksome here - it should just be there without me having to expend precious brain cells and time on wondering where it is, and when it appears if it's right or not.

Just guessing now, but default interest is only charged when they are a week late. That is not the case just yet, so I haven't the faintest idea what's gonna happen, but it might accrue at normal rate and then when they are late they go back and correct the Int. now that it's default. But can you see what I'm getting at? I appreciate they haven't paid the loan, so this sounds like splitting hairs.
