I really don't think it's anything to worry about though. If you received the two previous communications from BDO (as did we), then I'm sure you'll hear something soon.

As I scratch my head, I still have no idea how your comment "80 billable hours is 10 working days" relates to anything in my comment. Please expand.. BDO have only put 80 hours into it so far My exact point of how ridiculous this facade is. 80 hours work in 2 months, I just hope they can now get on with it, otherwise we could still be arguing over it in 2020..

Where do people get the point that BDO have only put in 80 billable hours since their appointment? The way I read it, it is either 46.04 x 3 = 138.2 or 204.58 or the sum of both of those. Not sure which way to read the figures but in any event far more than the 80 hours people have mentioned.

Where do people get the point that BDO have only put in 80 billable hours since their appointment? Heaven forbid that anyone should let the facts get in the way of a good moan. All anyone has to do to understand the facts is to read appendix 4 of the report.
- time spent pre appointment (up to and including 27th April) 3 x 28.17 = 84.5hrs
- time spent between 27th April and 21st June 46.04 x 3 plus 204.58 (342.7hrs)
- total bill up to 21st June is £141k equating to an average of £330/hr
Cue hoots of derision from those that previously said BDO weren't committing enough resources, who will now be saying that it is costing too much.

Just to add to the list, I've not received mine either. As has been mentioned before, if the data had been checked beforehand, then this should have been a 5 minute job to sent out all the emails at once if using standard office IT methods. But then if I was on £430+/hr, I would do it manually myself  |

Mine just arrived, a few pennies more than my most recent record (presumably an interest payment before the shutters came down.)
Lots of rather (IMHO) fruitless speculation here about whether BDO are doing this work efficiently or not ... without knowing what crippled form of data they've managed to get hold of, it's impossible for anyone here to know whether they could have done it better.
