FAQ:
Q. How sorry should I be for investors who have had a default and ask for sympathy on forums? A. You should suggest that the investor should not concern his/herself with individual defaults, but should try to see only the aggregated predictions. Be assured that we are keen to spread the rewards of investing fairly, statistically. We are continually striving to remove from the platform all information which might cause upset, and which is not strictly necessary to your enjoyment of lending. This includes information which is not easy to understand, and may cause stress to those without special knowledge or education, any education.
Is it a bad sign that I genuinely can't work out whether this is a real FAQ, or sarcasm?!?!

I am actually having the opposite experience; last week I had a cumulative 29 defaults/downgraded loans, according to the dashboard, this week it has dropped to 26???
I don't keep detailed notes of individual loan numbers so can't specify which have either repaid, been regraded or simply disappeared but surely this must be good news or is it just a dastardly FC trick!

We are currently in the 59xxx's, so I guess that was quite well established? 39503 obviously more recent. Given we are dealing with a black box fitted with tamper proof screws, maybe give a bit more background on age etc. Will make it easier to judge the empathy levels to offer (I am led to believe appearing concerned is the social norm). Haha. Well, I wasn't really looking for empathy or sympathy, but if anyone can spare some, then great! Trouble is, it's needed pretty much constantly on tap these days.
I was merely adding it as an example of a non-Thursday default. From my perspective, defaults had always been on Thursdays without exception until last Wednesday, 3 July, since when I have now had 2 defaults, neither on a Thursday.
For background, 11955 was a B loan that repaid just over half of its principal before giving up 4 months ago. It was one of the last parts I bought manually just before the Big Change of 18 September 2017. Grr.

We feel your pain as if it were our own, Stonk . Very true. I believe a support group should be formed. I once accidentally voted liberal, and on another occasion managed not to laugh when an old lady slipped on ice. So believe I come with considerable talent to the task.

I consider that ridiculing those of use who are still 19th Century Liberals is a bit below the belt, as Jeremy Thorpe might have felt. That old lady was free to slip over, and would learn from her mistake, to the benefit of herself and the nation.
