Today 16/7/18 - I kid you not, No Comment :-
"Valuation did not take place due to road accident by the valuer. An alternative valuer is being sought. Purchaser has reconfirmed his commitment to the transaction."

What the valuer caused an accident and is now under arrest? Maybe this is very poor English and should be "the valuer has suffered a road accident?". Life is clearly very dangerous at FS with people dying all over the place causing delays and now valuers are going down as well...and I thought building was a dangerous profession! Amazing how many legal and surveying companies are one-man bands with no backup...

Hard** ***ck were supposed to carry out the valuation for the sale of the property on the 26th.
It's probably a good thing for current lenders that they were appointed as a high valuation would be beneficial and if one looks at the Westbury Castle loans, Hard** ***ck carried out those valuations which turned out to be double the actual realised net sale proceeds. So fingers crossed for a helpfully high valuation.

I am not saying it is right but I have read the valuation was for £4.9m and it sold for £1.5m (seems cheap to me) so the valuation was over 3 times realised.
Just noticed the valuers have at least 2 partners who do (probably the right word) valuations so why didn't the non-injured one do it! This is about the worst valuation I have ever read - no dimensions, no building survery no title inspection - I give up.
Wonder if this one will make the FA League...

I was referring to the FS loans on the Lodge and the Riding School which had net proceeds of half the valuation figures.

This one is over a year late, and I noticed the recent update expects completion in the next 2/3 weeks.
The same "expectation" was expressed in March and June, so let's hope it's third time lucky for this option!

Think there is a problem with the transaction would have happened by now if it was OK

2 years old now and finally going to default it, if the borrower had any hope of selling or refinancing it would have happened a year ago. Another example of FS at it best; incompetence. What happened to the £124k per annum the borrower is receiving from the tenants?

What happened to the £124k per annum the borrower is receiving from the tenants? This is a very important and serious issue james21, have you asked FS where the money's gone?
