Came available two days ago on Friday. Still has 100% availability. Have I missed something - is there something obviously wrong with it? Why hasn't a single investor bitten?

Why hasn't a single investor bitten? might be because the loan just next to it has a lower LTV, longer duration and same rate. Also BC doesn't always update loan allocations in real time.

Uninhabitable, might be a factor. Now 96%.

Yes I picked up the non-mortgageable aspect. Still, I think folk are being particularly conservative at the moment.

I'm rather wary now of investing in "pipeline" loans because they seem to be stuck in pipeline longer and longer these days, if and when it goes "live" then I may take a punt if there's any left. Having looked at sold prices in that road the £300k valuation when renovated seems rather optimistic.

I take back the above words, most of last weeks loans went "live" promptly.
When also viewed in the light of BC's no-nonsense way of dealing with late redemptions, it's little wonder that BC is a favourite for many of us.
1001, 1009, 1023 are just 3 examples of BC getting on with the job, a refreshing contrast to some other P2P platforms.

Hi Phil, 1023 is more than a year in default now and looking like another year to run, still feel that way?

I thought April next year for 1023, unless he comes up with funds in the meantime, which looks unlikely. I'm still pretty confident of full recovery, but BC have to comply with the law.

Makes me wonder if investing in any loan underpinned by Scottish property is worthwhile.

I have added Scotland to my list of reasons to avoid a prospect.

Yes fair enough but I just think if its relatively easy for a borrower to get an additional 12 months before vacation it adds extra risk. I don't want to sound harsh but at the end of the day whoever it is has asked to borrow this money and has agreed to pay it back. Further they've pledged their house. I've pledged some of my life savings. Edit: Sorry, not on this loan though but was a general point.

Hi Phil, 1023 is more than a year in default now and looking like another year to run, still feel that way? Reading the updates, BC's action on repossession was faultless, short of going in and turfing the elderly relative out what can they do?

Makes me wonder if investing in any loan underpinned by Scottish property is worthwhile. I've often wondered that but Green Com, a commercial property in Scotland, went through the courts quickly, was on the verge of repossession and borrower came up with the funds. For some reason it's not showing in my repaid investments so I can't give the reference number, it repaid on 21st last month.
