Anyone know what's happening with the Clapham loan that repays soon?
Repay date was 29/7 but I now see it's changed to 1/8 (on 'my loan parts')
Last thing I was told was that it might be re-payed late (pending a let of the property) and that further updates would be provided if things change.
"Further update" appears to be the un-announced change of repayment date; but Lord knows if that can be relied on.
Me thinks we should be kept better informed (on this and others ... what about Conwy me wonders ... we were promised further news once the DTV was in ... weeks ago!)
Emails to their CEO, Lender Support and 'Victor' now go unanswered ....

Hi maotwI trust you have received the latest communication on Clapham (30/08/18). As you will appreciate we are restricted to what we can share or discuss in public forums but the team is always happy to discuss the position of loans with Lenders individually Please just drop us a note and one of our team will get back to you the same day (Mon-Fri) lender-support@relendex.com-Penny

Penny,
No reply (I got a 'read receipt') to my email sent to Victor on Wednesday about this and the Stourport draw-down.
Please would you update us on these two loans.
On the face of it, Clapham repays on the 31st - but given the history of non-repayments on due dates, and late notification thereof, a confirmation of the situation would be appreciated.
Stourport was said to be drawing down last week, it didn't - nor this week - so please may we know what the latest position is.
Great to see the new loans going faster, and the very buoyant resale activity.
Regards

I'm not in Stourport, but did receives emails about Halifax and Waterford, where drawdown has also been delayed. The emails did confirm that interest is accruing on the loans.
Nothing received so far on Clapham, nor on four others that are all shown as expiring next week.

Well - It's the day before repay of Clapham is due.
Never had bad news this close to repayment, so I guess no news means that it's gonna repay.
I do think we should have been told what's happening. What possible purpose does it serve to keep lenders poorly informed?
Oh no! I see now that repay date has been bumped to end of November - without notification or explanation! Fabulous!

Fabulous! pennyrelendex - why do your investors have to nag you for information? Due to its poor communication I have now exited the platform, except for this loan...

Savilles say it's let agreed, Jacksons still offering it - somewhat muddled, but I guess we have to assume that it's let.
I too have been pulling back from Relendex, but still have a substantial sum invested in this loan and others. Reduced from 2.3 to 1.5 money units.
I have emailed them direct about this, but not received a reply. Got a "read receipt" on the day, and mention on here from Penny that she would speak with Victor and/or his "team".
Me thinks we should have got some interest yesterday ... paid on the 30th of the month previously.
Continued silence will only erode confidence.
Penny - I'd happy to do this by email, if only you guys would answer.
EDIT - Looks like interest is being paid today.

Totally unacceptable.

Hi All,
Please accept our sincerest apologies for the delayed update on Clapham, due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to update lenders on the date previously advised.
I can assure you that all lenders who hold a loan part in Clapham will receive an update on its position today.
Thanks, Penny

Unforeseen circumstances?
Do tell please! - what it was - that prevented news on Clapham - that permitted news on the other loans to escape from Relendex HQ?
EDIT - Poor English, but you catch my drift?
EDIT - Update now circulated.
Seems I was premature to say above "but I guess we have to assume that it's let".
I think it should be told to lenders why the initial, and short-lived, tenancy ended. I assume (!) that there was a tenancy in force - so as to have allowed occupation; and therefore a reason why that tenancy was surrendered .... or were Relendex misinformed about there ever having been a "tenant in occupation"?
I note that today's update contains a disclaimer - perhaps an indication that there have been reliability difficulties with information told to Relendex, and today's update may be similarly vulnerable?
Viz disclaimers - I intend no accusation that any party has been intentionally less than truthful.
I reconfirm that I would happily seek and receive information by email - if only emails were answered.

Dear Relendex,
This loan has been showing for repayment 4th Jan 2019 for a few weeks now, and has now dropped out of being able to sell on SM.
The house still shows as "to let" on RM. (I appreciate that RM lettings don't always get changed to show "Let agreed")
Is the 4th a firm date, or is it subject to the house being let?
News of what the latest position is would be appreciated here, and perhaps by others.

Deafening and contemptuous silence so far .... but we do have snowflakes on the homepage - no idea is that's significant or ironic.

Still(!) no news on this.
Latest activity on the portal is that the repayment date has been pushed back again, AND the accumulated interest has been reset to be just one day.
Come-on Relendex, how can you continue to leave lenders with no information, it's a very poor show, do you place any value on reputation?
