So the problem of exiting easily hasn't totally been solved. But perhaps that's just because there aren't enough people trying to build up their GEIAs. Perhaps that will change now that many of the wrinkles have been ironed out.

IIRC, the timing of the launch of the GEIA was supposed to have been dictated by the timing of a marketing campaign. I've not seen any adverts, but perhaps I don't visit the right places. And perhaps the campaign was reduced considerably while the bug fixing was being done. Has anyone else seen any adverts?
