For those who remember him. "To do his own thing" apparently, but perhaps he observed what was happening and wanted no truck with it? Purely conjecture of course.

I think insinuation is a manipulative way of finding fault in others without taking the personal responsibility of the statement. Hence, people who insinuate always try to avoid owning up to the statement by saying they didn't mean it the way it has been interpreted. It is always used to start rumors and to ruin the reputation of someone or an institution for whatever reason.

You what? Do you require the Aussie translation ?
Could you also explain what 'Mine's a Large One! (Snigger, snigger .......)' insinuates ?

numerous complaints about FS in a sister post and I agree with them all. Totally unrelated to co-founder N***n leaving - I guess he wanted to spend more time with his family. Personally I think the only option FS have is to ditch all future property loans, cut their (our) losses and concentrate on what they know e.g. the recent Austin Healey classic car - it defaulted - the valuation seemed about right to me and they sold it giving 100% recovery - no worries. Wimbledon. Knareborough, etc etc - big worries...
