Put £200k in for a 4% bonus and £500k for a 5% bonus. Why not put in £700k for a 5% bonus? Have I missed something? Bonuses are paid on cumulative investments although I wouldn't recommend 28,000 investments of £25, seems a tad onerous to manage. I’ve few thousand investments to cover a few hundred £K in FS all will probably make 2-13% more than initial posted rate. I find the management a good way to keep the grey matter active. By actively managing you don’t have that niggling feeling that something might go wrong with a larger sum invested to get a bonus. Buying for bonus restricts your management opportunities to Zero as any sale nullifies the bonuses.
