more of an investment trust/fund investor but have read the £100,000 limit on bonds before but without looking into it i know HL for One(and guess the rest do as well)have at least 150 bonds online and many more using phone dealing.Which can be invested in ISA etc @ 1% trading fee minimum £20 max £50 which suggests lower values then £100000

you could be right it was just something i noticed on HL when looking for something else but they break it down by bonds, gilts,PIBS and there must be at least a couple of hundred bonds some online or by phone but did not notice a limit on buying Could also be worth looking at the "fixed income investor" site/forum if your getting the bond bug

So we now have resolution of the New Look Bonds. Thank you Wisealpha with being prompt and clear about this.
Disappointing obviously with overall a 60-70% loss. I think bondholders realised it was this or a complete wipeout. We now have a small amount of equity which , I guess, could increase in value over time. I am not sure how prepared Wisealpha are in dealing with this as there is obviously no mechanism to trade this equity and it appears just stuck in our portfolio for now.
Anyway, one positive it has been dealt with and we can move on, unlike whats happening elsewhere in p2p world.

Not sure how much equity has been given but you would think if you have been given equity in some kind of swap that as like the notes they are in WA name.Assuming it is tradable(as it does not sound like you have been given shares) you would think they could offer people who don't want to hold,if on a certain date they want to be part of a bulk sale and receive the cash or could even have offered it in the first place
