On FS I typically invest a minimum of £100 in each loan I like, but on a few very select loans I've gone up to £1000 each. So up to 10 times my typical minimum. What is your scale factor? Just trying to get a feel of approaches- i.e. fixed amount no matter the loan or are you willing to push your limits for one you feel confident about?

Interesting question!
Funnily enough when I started I was broadly similar except I also put 25 into every loan. Then the max started creeping up until I put 5k into 1061891452 which seemed (to me) at the time a dead cert. Sadly, I've also got 2.7K ish in K**t's Close - god knows what possessed me at the time!
I've now decided that diversification alone (or even at all) on FS is not my preferred strategy. I'd rather put higher amounts into better quality loans so typically 500 is my minimum, with 1000 being the max (unless I get carried away...). However, I'm also trying to reduce my exposure generally to the platform and I want to see how the recoveries progress. For the last two months or so have hardly invested in anything.
Not really a strategy (or at least not a single strategy) but that's where I am.

About a year ago I put £25 each into about 60 loans, just to test the waters. I'm awaiting the outcome to see how much I get back before committing larger sums.
At the moment though, it looks like I could be waiting quite some time to find out what I'm going to get back.

I hope you find time to update this thread in due course.

Smallest £25, max 0.3% of all investment (p2p & non-p2p) per loan.

Typically 2%/loan, sometimes £25 just to monitor an interesting case, and up to 10% where prospects look good; unfortunately one of those was DFL002 and also have 5% in Clearwater Quays.

I usually range from 1% of my FS total up to 4%. I do have one at 6% and have a few odds and ends at under 1% when I have spare funds to invest.
