Rather depends on the investor. Many people have money in multiple P2P platforms and offers like this cause money to come out of other platforms into AC with little/no impact on the lender's cash reserves. Anyway, down to the individual as to whether they want to benefit from the offer now or continue with their intended P2P investment plan.
Regardless of the offer, I haven't seen any new loans in AC so far this week, so not sure why the need for new money (unless there's a ton of loans in the pipeline)
Dont forget all the development tranche drawdowns which have to be funded, thats potentially where most of the money is required, numerous ones this week. There are also loads of loans in the pipeline expected to drawdown in Sept though underwriters have recently been funding much of that but QAA/30DAA has still be taking a few percent. I've been restricting myself to 30DAA and MLA recently, avoiding the likes of GBBA2 until I see what happens with the near £6K I've got locked up in loan 227. Though allocation/re-balancing in the packaged accounts seems better these days, I still don't trust them enough to put big amounts in 'blind'

A bit confusing, I read terms of service. I don't see the normal amount eligibility they like to flash on the dashboard, only my 0.5 percent earning bonus. So all the funds I add new (after 14th September total balance) is eligible for the cashback; if I remain invested for both periods? See Chris's entry above re dashboard "Should be live tomorrow"

In my own experience I would say it definitely wouldn't. I started a transfer in July which they managed to squeeze into the window between the Summer bonus ending 31st Aug and the new one starting on 14th Sep thus avoiding having to pay me anything. same here - obviously just pure coincidence I've found the same, ISA transfer took many weeks when there was a bonus. I ended up with £17 qualifying.

Sorry cb25 that wasn't the most productive reply. It's coded but awaiting sign off from marketing before we can put it live. We're chasing.

It's arrived. The 'pot' currently stands at £5.3m. Lucky as I was wondering what to do with the £4.7m I found in the pocket of my spare jeans.

I've have it now but it doesn't make sense.
The headline figure gives one amount 'Current promotion pot balance (refreshed daily)', then there is another 'Funds currently eligible for cashback'
'Funds currently eligible for cashback' is correct, 'Current promotion pot balance (refreshed daily)' is far lower and doesn't seem to correlate with anything at all.

'Current promotion pot balance' shows on my display as £5.3m. If that's lower than your correctly stated 'Funds currently eligible for cashback', you must have a huge amount of money in AC!.

It looks like a mis-interpreted that, I could have sworn the 4th comma was a decimal point and was only a 6 digit number when I looked! Shuffles out of thread with tail between legs...!

When I first read it (much too quick), I thought "****, I'm going to be rich if I'm getting an extra 1% on that. Should I tell AC I haven't invested £5.3m.....?"

Would be nice if it said 2% cashback, at the moment it only says "CHRISTMAS CRACKERS & SUMMER HOLIDAY CASHBACK". Whilst left side says the 0.5%
