Any restrictions on the weekend? Awaiting salary paid on Friday. Due to essential maintenance being carried out by Barclays, our banking partner, deposits into the platform may not be received on Sunday 30th September between 06:00 and 18:00 (BST). Deposits made during this time will be received and processed as normal once this maintenance has concluded.

Expect an announcement later today.

I haven't joined Assetz capital yet and I know its pushing it but would it still be possible to be referred today by another member, join and be able to deposit and invest funds before the deadline and still qualify for the referral and the 2% bonuses? Or do checks and funding delays make that impossible? Well, from Chris' post earlier it sounds like the deadline might be slightly extended. Assetz usually credit funds same-day, so I guess it boils down to how long Assetz ID checks take (I can't recall, but I don't remember any significant delay to investment). Have PM'd you in case you don't have a link

It's blindingly obvious to everyone except me I'm sure, but could stuartassetzcapital confirm: If on 14th Sept my balance was £1000, and on 31 Oct it's £11500, cashback will be £105; but if then on 17th June 2019 my balance has eroded to £11490, will my additional cashback be £104.90 or £0? I

I £104.90. It's 1% of the lowest balance you have between 31st October and December's payment, then the lowest balance between December and June.

I See www.assetzcapital.co.uk/promo/christmas-cracker-summer-holiday-cashback/tscs, specifically point 4 "An investor’s ‘Lent Funds’ balance will be calculated daily, so if the balance of additionally ‘Lent Funds’ falls below that of the ‘Eligible Balance‘ when any daily calculation is taken at 11:59:59pm each day, then the ‘Eligible Balance’ shall permanently become that new lower figure as at that date for purposes of this promotion."

Yes indeed. I was only wondering, because T&C point 6 says "To qualify for an additional 1% cash back, all qualifying funds lent during the Promotion Period must remain invested until 17th June 2019." (My bold).

Sorry if this sounds a bit of a stupid question, but if I invest an additional GBP10,000 by 31st October, I will get GBP100 cashback on 17th December, and I can then withdraw all my funds? That's 1% for less than 7 weeks investment, or over 7%/year just in the bonus.
I can understand bonuses to incentivise us to stay invested through the Brexit period, but this seems a little too generous.

It does seem generous. I imagine that they are hoping that inertia, coupled with the temptation of the further 1% if you leave it in till June, will mean that most of the added funds stay put.
ETA: I have no idea when their peak inflow date is, but you might imagine that if they had any sense they'd have timed the December date to coincide with a time when they'd normally be expecting a large net inflow (Xmas bonuses?)

I came across this on 4th Way. Seems a larger amount, for new investors for greater bonus. ”Assetz Capital (P2P lending accounts and IFISAs) New lenders exclusively through 4thWay: £200 cashback if you complete the registration process before the end of 31st October, lend at least £5,000 before 7th November, and keep at least £5,000 in one or more lending accounts for 12 months. This is the equivalent of up to 4% cashback, making it a very generous offer compared to normal cashback deals and double the offer Assetz is offering lenders outside of 4thWay. The registration process can include some ID checks, so ensure you allow several days before 31st October to be confident of taking part in the deal. You need to go to Assetz Capital from a link on the 4thWay site to earn the cashback: visit Assetz Capital*. You need to keep at least £5,000 in one or more Assetz Capital lending accounts or IFISAs for 95% of the time over the 12 month duration. Its cash account is not included. You'll receive your cashback within 12 months and 14 days of lending your money.” www.4thway.co.uk/candid-opinion/p2p-lending-cashback/

My understanding is that it is 1% per annum - so for 7 weeks investment that would be 7/52 of 1% (~0.13%), so for £10k invested you should get a payment of ~£13 for the 7 weeks.

No I am expecting 1% cash back. Look at Chris's post (about 5 above mine). This offer was originally meant to finish in September, but was extended to October because Barclays had 'routine' maintenance on the deadline day. I might be a couple of years out of date, but historically there aren't many new loans over the second half of December and early January.

I would very much like you to be right and me to be wrong, however for now I'm sticking with my interpretation. If I am wrong then I should get a very nice surprise in December, if I am right I won't be disappointed.
