Questions:
1) Does any trading in loans take place at the weekend?
2) Are loan-parts purchased 'cum dividend' (i.e. does the buyer pay additionally for the accrued interest due to the seller and go on to recieve payment for the full period due from the borrower via AC)?
Thnx in advance

1) Yes, system cycles though repeatedly, roughly every 8 hrs I think now chris has given it a bit of tune up.
2)No, the buyer purchases the capital only, interest is paid to seller & buyer pro rata on the payment date.

Thought trading at the weekend seems minimal for the ones i'm interested in, sometimes there's no movement at all, I wonder if they switch off trading in case it falls over and there's no one about with a zimmerframe to get it up again.

Marketplace is switched on and running smoothly.

Marketplace is switched on and running smoothly. Good to see that Chris is standing at the console, zimmer frame ready, just in case it falls over.

There was a 3% Discount on loan 812 within the last day or two, I didnt find it specifically, but I had a buy order for any units with a 1.5% discount which picked some up at that rate automatically.

How do you extract this information of which loans are available at discount without having to click into every sale?

I got 3% discount on #533 today (but with only 99p for 96p available!) For #531 I've put in a cheeky offer at -4% b/c there will be no interest paid for three months as agreed by the lenders so would asking for -2% (at least) be fair, no?

You cannot see aggregated offers so whilst you can see how much is for sale and at what rate of discount, you can't see how much investors are offering to purchase. If someone decided to sell enough at -4% you would get a proportion of that along with everyone else with any below par offer up to and including -4% on that loan, auto allocated by the system. If you would be prepared to purchase at -2% then put a buy order on for that amount and you will pick up a proportion of anything selling at -2% and below (i.e. including -4% if someone sold at that discount), your -4% order will not pick up anything selling at -2%.

( thanks for the update, bg )
Can I ask pls: 3) If I have a holding and wish to sell it entirely should I 'round up' the amount by 1p so that the fractional part of a penny in the holding is also offered up? (I obviously want to avoid '<0.01' situations and my reason for selling is to remove the very small holdings where I've previously only picked up a quid or two on the allocation)

Yes, I normally round up by more than that (nearest pound). It might not work first time, so then you'll have to buy a penny and try again.
