Mousey, could you forward that link to the Govt?
perhaps they could benefit from your huge knowledge of this very basic and widely available information.

As the evidence shows in this thread not widely available enough. Although I'm sure when it was sent to the government prior to 2020 it was instantly dismissed under the category of 'Project Fear'.

In oldfool 's defense, if his livelihood, family or friends have been decimated by Coronavirus, he may be leaning towards that 'nasty' response. Anyway, I agree with you, it's probably better than to just 'have a dig', to instead scientifically review the established ground zero/sources of this generation's pandemics. Here they are tabled for ease: Pandemic | Established Ground Zero / Source | Covid-19 | China | SARS | China | Avian Influenza (Bird Flu) | China
|
But on the +ive side China has given the world.... special fried rice n wonton soup buddhism , very cheep consumer goods, covid 19 ain't the only thing that can kill you and this will kickstart alot of innovation in bioscience to combat future epidemics and it will remind the world, we are all in this together , so spread the love in these anxious times, xx

Quite the list of Chinese 'firsts'. Some stands out for me: bristle toothbrush Indian ink (go figure) pinhole camera toilet paper - perhaps that why everyone was panic buying, they all though it still came from China it's a long list ...

I am all for having a laugh in difficult times, but if members are not careful the administrators of this forum may start to get rather active on this thread as it has gone so seriously off subject.
The Chinese are not responsible for the cheats who were given our cash by Lendy and then tried to blackmail investors to pay them a large profit element [for an advertised "8 month short term loan", then used it to buy their hotel in Eastbourne, and then failed to pay any of it back, whilst setting up a series of company transactions to create a bogus inter company lease on the London Hotel. ]
The Chinese are not responsible for the appalling mismanagement, lack of due diligence & underhand methods (and some may think possible dishonest behaviour) at Lendy.
The Chinese have nothing to do with the failure of the Administrators to achieve a recovery.
I hope all investors remain well during this current situation. SXLR
EXTRA NOTE 05.04.2020;- Opps, I see I put in some info from the long running FC fiasco over the London hotel "short term loan" instead of the correct Lendy Marylebone loan.
Thanks to brightspark for pointing this out to me in a very gentle and kind way. SXLR

I think you are perhaps confusing Lendy and Funding Circle? FC was the originator of a series of non-performing London loans involving a property in North London whereas Lendy was involved in legal action in relation to two properties one of which was in London Marylebone.

I blame China for this confusion

You're sounding a bit (= exactly) like Trump there. Nasty little digs like that pick you out as the sort of person I wouldn't get on with.
