Did not reach the minimum opening price (£4.75m), so possibly sold for £4.5m if rumour correct and no higher post-auction bids put forward.

If they have been offered £4.5M then I think they should accept it although the buyer may reduce his price now. It really needs to be sold as quickly as possible.

It "is still available at £4,750,000.00 Subject to Contract." So much for the court application yesterday to postpone the sale today..... Online Auctions for property do not seem to attract the same frenzy as when conducted in public. So we potentially have £4.5m on the table [pre-auction offer], and seeking a little more...Time will tell what happens next.......

We do not know for certain, but is was stated in yesterdays court hearing and not denied/challenged by any parties present including the auctioneers legal representative.

Was there a formal offer made? My recollection was that there was reference to two parties being in discussion about a pre-auction sale.

Its times like this that a recording would be good to refer to. My notes show (which could be wrong!) that an offer for £4.5m is on the table, and the next line of my notes says that IS is in Saudi Arabia looking for finance (?).

I certainly hope no one admits to having a recording as that would be considered a contempt of court!
I cannot recall exact specifics about offers existing.
My understanding that it was in fact the nominee directors who were in Saudi and were therefore "unable to adopt action" from the daughter as they were outside the jurisdiction.
My notes from the judgement at the end:
There are significant obstacles in granting relief. 1) Only applicant before the court is daughter but she has no standing to bring a substantive claim. Affairs are arranged that are two overseas companies hold registered f/h and l/h and said to be owned by a BVI company and that she owns shares in underlying company held in trust. No locus. What it does is to allow her to operate machinery of companies. She is not a director but could be appointed. Nominee directors are in Saudi. Simple fact is that she has not operated that machinery yet and she’s not in the position to bring claim.
Court is in position to grant injunction but circumstances where someone has chosen to operate in a network of overseas companies. She only has her self to blame.
Problems were not limited to locus; they were three accumulative problems that the application failed: 1 – locus 2 - previous order for unpaid costs 3 – balance of convenience
Any one on it’s own enough to sink application
Application has many defects.

Maybe all these court actions are time the landlady need to gather finance and buy back the house at discounted price 😱

Is there any further news on this. Appears to have all gone quiet again.

What was the home address of the borrower when she sent a summons to borrowers ?? Probably the same as LB's address. Or at least the one he has asset-frozen at the moment, that may well get torn up from under his feet.

What was the home address of the borrower when she sent a summons to borrowers ?? Ha ha ha, planning a visit ?.....all addresses used are accommodation addresses or similar. The main character lives in the BVI, quite a nice complex if you ask me.
