It's a direct quote from the claim form. Apologies I think it's them that's over egging it Surely it is on a legal court form then they aren't allowed to "over egg" the amount. I would expect the amount has to be justifiable and you can't just put any old number down. The other side to this is that is the £8 million the claim or the amount Lendy claim the valuation was out by, I haven't looked at any of the documents, as I would guess the compensation won't be for the full valuation error as they don't make 100% loans.

I'm reporting on a separate Lendy valuation claim at 6pm and the written filings end:

"seeks to recover" is more realistic, they need to prove professional negligence first of all i believe

Another distribution is available to withdraw. In my calculation (could be wrong), we've got 25% back from this loan so far.

Huh, I've just received a total of £38.20 out of the £300 I had in this loan. Barely enough for a couple of pints! Unless I've already received a payout so far back in time that I've forgotten about it.

Just over 25% returned in total so far - a bit under 16% two years ago when the security was sold, another 9.5% now.
Considering how this 'un looked in the darkest days, I think we're a chunk ahead of where we expected to be.

I'd assumed it was dead, given the rather ... odd ... personality involved. Whatever happened to her?

Oh, do we think we'll be lucky and get any more back?

Considering what that crazy cow did to my anxiety levels with this loan. I'm resigned to getting some scraps.

Hello All, Does anyone know the outcome of the court case against the valuers? Was it dismissed out of hand? Did we win?
Is it still on-going? …..If so, is there an end date to resolve this?
Thanks.

It's ongoing. The defendants have filed a defence - a written document setting out their response to the particulars of claim - but that's £11 and I'm a tad busy atm.
