Might be useful (cheaper + stronger case) for all investors to accept the lawyer's services? Lendy should have this, lenders having to retain and pay a lawyer seems ridiculous, but what do we know?

Assuming that investors are now being 'joined' to the claim against L, then surely the L legal team will represent both  ?
Obviously anyone is free to seek their own advice or instruct their own independant representation, but some sort of 'united front' must be the way to go.

I have reason to believe someone connected to the borrower's legal team is studying the posts made on this forum.
The more we give the impression of worrying about the issue, the harder they will push it. Their aim is to get us to agree to their settlement offer by intimidation / bullying tactics. The only answer (in the short term) is to "turn the other cheek".
This remains for now, just a threat, until there is evidence that a lender has actually been joined to the case.

This last minute change to the details is clearly tactical as all facts have been available to the borrower from day one.

If this is potentially true that the litigant will claim each investor committed fraud , can each investor in turn counter sue back for defamation damages.
i just wanted a £10 flutter. I have an impecable character.

I am sick to death of not receiving any updates from Lendy about this loan. I have written to them on several occasions to request being put on the mailing list!! despite having a 4 figure sum in this rubbish. They repeated have ignored my requests!

The updates are not being sent by email, they are being added to the dedicated page on the Lendy website used for the vote. Only one email has been sent, that which announced the vote.

LENDY could not be bothered to reply to my email to tell me that the updates were being held on the platform! I did not get the original update to link to the platform, so there is no speculation THANK YOU>

How can we be expected to read a webpage if we are not emailed to be informed its been updated. I'm not going to poll a website every few days/

Just for the record, I fully support Lendy on this matter. The borrower is in absolute breach and deserves to be brought to pay.

If they are smart they have presumably informed their employers to make sure they get paid up front, I doubt they would get paid afterwards.
