Not even Diane Abbot could get one stuck in her throat giving the statistics about how many kill people

Apparently coconuts kill 150 people a year, fifteen times as many people as sharks kill
Be careful next time you are in the fruit and veg shop, especially if there is a ladder around as well

Or a shark, for that matter.

Not sure why I am bothering, I'm pretty sure a coconut wouldn't defend my reputation but....... Is it not a bit harsh to suggest coconuts kill people, I doubt they are going out 'tooled up' looking for trouble. Would it not be fairer to say coconut related deaths are 150 a year?

Apparently there is a strategy to forewarn yourself of potential in-coming; you need to get your palm read

No more , or we will all need cancelling I'm too young to be cancelled, so for self preservation, should I consider moving into a bungalow, to avoid the killer stairs?

With reference to the original question, i think this summarises how far our society has declined in moral fibre...

I was once up a ladder harvesting coconuts from a palm tree on the shore of a desert island. A helicopter flying overhead got into trouble and clipped the tree, upsetting the precarious ladder and flinging me into the sea. Coconuts rained down like boulders on my battered body, but I clung to life. As the pummelling subsided, a passing shark attacked me. I fought it off and hauled myself onshore with my remaining arm. It was then, with my life ebbing away, that I discovered I am allergic to coconuts. As anaphylactic shock set in, I stumbled around in panic and stood on a loose coconut. I fell backwards and something hard impacted on my head with a sickening crack. The last thing I remember as I drifted into coma was the sweet fragrance of coconut millk.
I awoke in hospital lucky not to have contributed to any of those highly unlikely fatality statistics people laugh about.

Lucky not to have picked up MRSA in hospital, an "opportunity" missed.
