It certainly will be a help when the underwriter portion finally hits zero and we can see clearly how much gets recycled. There's so much of PBL005 that there's bound to be a fair amount of it being recycled. And it's hard to know how long it might take to sell PBL005 parts as a result. Has anyone here sold any recently? If so, how long did it take? I suppose if someone were really keen to know they could watch the amount available and the recent activity and work out how much of the recent activity was recycling and how much was sales of underwriters' parts. I wonder if the underwriters were expecting their money would be tied up as long as it has turned out to be. We're three months into the loan and there's still over £300k available. That number hasn't been going down very fast, even when PBL005 has been the only SS investment opportunity.

That number hasn't been going down very fast, even when PBL005 has been the only SS investment opportunity. A couple of my sales of PBL 005 were very recent and they've all gone within the day. I haven't tried selling them when there's a new loan investment ongoing and everyone else is trying to sell, which might hold things up, but even in those situations, you do see it move a bit. I've took the view that PBL 005 might be more difficult to shift than others and so sold it when everything was nice and quiet. Edit: There's actually quite a lot of it shifting at the moment - in percentage terms it doesn't look so much because it's such a big loan, but I'd estimate easily 80K of it has gone in the past week, which I don't think bad for a loan that most people have as much of as they want. Edit2: And that didn't include the £25K that's just gone through since I posted

These 3 loans work out at only £1,200 per member, so not much really. And then there are those who bid 10k+, even a 25k bid on PBL 005, and these bids arent uncommon. Anybody want to guess when they think PBL005 will be full? My guess, early November.

I've sold a few chnks of PBL05 and some sold within 1 day but on one occasion it took about 2 to 3 days. The longer wait was when there was another cashback PBL just launched and available.

Yes although I didn't miss out altogether as I had a bit of money elsewhere that was more liquid. Also I was quite heavy in PBL05 anyway so was quite pleased to reduce my investment in that loan a bit as it does seem the least liquid of the SS loans, though still quite accessible.

We are not all in the 'George Osborne, Nick Clegg, David Cameron' millionaire class just asking everyone else for a small contribution.

The £1200 was only an average figure, many bids(excluding mine) will be massively in excess of that, meaning that vast majority will be much lower.
Anyway having £1200 hardly makes you a millionaire. As a UKIP member and stay at home mum from a poor area in north Nottinghamshire, I deplore the reference to the Tory millionaires.

You should have written We are not all in the 'George Osborne, Nick Clegg, David Cameron, Nigel Farage, Ed Miliband (I don't know about Alec Salmond)' millionaire class
