I do wonder if / when these loans will refinance elsewhere, as was indicated back in February. Some of these loans are not due to repay until December 2022, and while I think it is inevitable that the MT windup is now going to take longer than initially foreseen, I didn't particularly expect to be in these loans for quite that long. They have generally been quite well performing loans and I'm sure that someone like ablrate would consider refinancing them.

They replied saying they would contact Ed. LW

Very happy about this. These repayments brought me very close to a position of no capital loss on MT.

Pawn is a good asset type and ABL is an openminded platform Unless the Moneything team are considering a complete change of career, I would have thought they would be looking at financing their good borrowers under a different model. I suspect they have learnt some valuable lessons, maybe they are ones to watch for the future. Having said that the wind down could take quite a while yet, the 12 months target has obviously already extended a fair bit. If they can get me safely to positive territory I would consider a future relationship with them. Ablrate are ticking quite loudly currently, might be the steady march of progress or the timer on the thing that goes bang. Have we learnt nothing about having current favorites?

LW As one of the last MT loans still actually bothering to pay interest, I'm sure MT (and us) should be keen to keep this loan, paying MT's bills while they try and unpick the rest of the loan book?

What makes you say this? Forum etiquette suggest discussing one platform on another's patch is a little impolite, albeit others started the process and Moneything no longer seem to visit us. So I will just make a random comment, that I am sure many will disagree with and leave it at that........ A town with one horse and a flock of turkeys, is nothing if something happens to the horse.

To be kind to MT I wait until there is at least £100 in there before withdrawal. I can’t be bothered messing about with £10 and I’m sure MT prefer one transaction rather than 10. They’ve been a decent platform for me although I suspect I’ll end up with a small loss - most of which is my fault for exceeding my own diversification limits. I’d support them in a new venture.

Well, with respect, my last withdrawal was nearly a year ago on the 18/07/2019 for £19.35. I've been drawing down all I could for several years. Read what you will to waiting a whole year to have just £9.99 sitting there. (I am still in 7 loans).
If I wait for £100 to be there I think I will have been pushing up the daisies for quite a long time...
