Yep good news. Unfortunately though, the rates of the new loans this week seem to have responded to demand so haven't re-invested it yet.

Yep good news. Unfortunately though, the rates of the new loans this week seem to have responded to demand so haven't re-invested it yet. Demand is always high. A couple of very low LTV 1st charges at a low rate for BC, but not bad in the scheme of things.

I wouldn't disagree but never say never and there was a period earlier in the year when it slackened off a little. Overall and compared to many other p2p platforms its high - I agree. But 1227 does show they do understandably react to market forces. It was a 28% 1st charge if I remember rightly and a pretty safe bet (as safe as p2p can be anyway) but paid .65 per month. Now we have similar loans at 0.5.

Rates everywhere have been going down recently, maybe overall supply and demand in P2P, but also more realistic rates for 'safer' loans and hopefully less dross getting accepted (not meaning on BC).
