As long as the board gets another week in Cowes in the summer, what does it matter? Dunno about a board, if they can't afford the sponsorship in 2019 they'll probably have Liam walking the plank!

Recovery of large problematic loans is the only action that will restore some level of confidence that Lendy are seriously tackling the loanbook. New promises of detailed reports and transparency around recovery sound positive but we won't have to wait long to establish whether there's meat on the bone. By the end of January we should have the evidence. I personally don't trust Lendy but then again I don't trust anyone in relation to large amounts of money. I certainly don't trust the numerous lenders who seem intent on demanding a fire sale of the loanbook at a massive loss.

Im sorry to say it but I think Lendy are finished. Or at least the current majority of their loans are done for. This new board give me no confidence what so ever. I suspect that come the new year they will start selling off the non performing loans at discounted rates. We the investors will lose out. I see no other way to be honest. There simply is no equity left in a huge raft of these loans and that isnt going to change - if anything it will get far worse. I just hope that there will be independent oversight of the sale of these assets. What is needed is a Investor Action Group - where as many investors as possible group together to form an alliance to make sure that the assets and investors are treated fairly. If a sale is the only route then a nmber of quotes are obtained via the committee of investors. Refinance is sought where applicable. Bottom line is that the investors need to take control and make sure that best value is obtained. I simply do not trust this management any more and I suspect I am not alone. Write a formal complaint first, then you'll have Ombudsman access sometime in February if you complain over the next week or so.
