Hi guys, I'm hope this is the right place to post this. I'm creating a site for comparison of the P2P investing platforms available and would like your input on what's relevant and needed to show. I see investing in P2P platforms just as stocks and ETF's. It's always nice to go for the best returns, but it's important to be diverse in case of risk, and therefor a wise idea to spread your investing across multiple platforms. So far you can view Loantypes, Trustpilot score, Interest rates, Secondary Markets and Sign up bonuses. I've been working on the coding of the site, but I'll add more features like: - Minimum initial investment
- Loanperiod
- Category
- Form of protection
- Volume
- Auto-invest etc.
- I've of course added Sign up bonuses where I could find them.
Do you have any suggestions to what would be nice to track? The site is brand new, so it's a work in progress. Best regards Jacob Balslev

I like the way 4th Way presents clear info of ISAs, like: if available and exit fees, transfer in, if Flexible. most people are predominately in cash OR ISA, so a check box before you start to show just the relevant info. And again for UK sites only.
Other things you may wish to consider:
Truspilot score (with the relevant date) is helpful, and even how they change over time (ie improving or not) How people here perceive the performance. Effective net return after costs and defaults. How easy/quick/expensive to exit. Provision Fund and cover %. Size of site, years established, and if profitable.
Why aren’t all sites like FS and Lendy included, and also the good sites, or is it only those that will pay you an intro?

Thank you so much, this is gold! I'll add years established and volume. I doubt I'll make alot on building this site, but it's fun to play with and a good way to learn about the platforms. I'm going to add the trustpilot score and the date, I was looking to see if it was possible to pull it off Trustpilot.com directly I added the ones I know of. I have a excel-sheet with platforms to add, but I need more info on them. So please do let me know of any platforms I should add.

I hardly recognise any of them, is this intended mainly for the UK market? if these are mainly European sites, the filtering by country first, then by Cash/ISA is next. these are some sites I compared from TP a month or so ago. p2pindependentforum.com/post/300154The number of ratings helps, as a very rough judge of how well known they are, good or bad. I reckon good/excellent are down to individual more than anything, so I’d treat them together, but that is only a very minor part of selecting a platform of course. hth

I've had a look and like what you've done so far.
Country of origin should really be on there for regulatory reasons.
If it's UK based FCA authorisation status might be useful.
It looks like you list mainly Euro platforms but your 'Compound Interest Calculator' is in $, maybe having the currency changeable to the user might be helpful.
You have categorised most of your listings as 'Crowdlending' that's quite vague. Maybe break in down to property backed/unsecured/business lending/ short term lending/mixed, or something like that.
I've bookmarked you and will watch your progress as you build up the site, well done on a good start.

Hasn't been updated for a while but you could start here (double check info is current, otherwise help yourself) p2pindependentforum.com/post/163682Alternatively/in addition go to the forum home page & add all the sites that have boards including those in the other P2x sub forum, euro & equity section (assuming you are including crowdfunding as well as P2P lending ie Property Partner which you already feature) In the meantime, please explain the meaty blog post. 🤔

Since when did Bondora have a buyback guarantee? I think not.
Do not be fooled by Trustpilot scores, they can be and are manipulated by platforms.

Rather than the meaty blog, ‘twould be better to report news like yesterday’s ”An investigation by The Mail on Sunday has revealed that a construction firm linked to Hammond has paid just £5,964 in tax on total profits of £1.6million since it was set up in 2010. That is an effective tax rate of 0.4 per cent – a long way below the standard 19 per cent corporation tax rate.” see Mail on Sunday. www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/news/article-6585187/Hypocrite-Chancellors-firm-pays-paltry-tax-bill-Hammond-tells-web-giants-pay-fair-share.htmlRe TrustPilot, if read with care can say a lot about the platform and its need to manipulate- like Lendy. But that is just one valid check to make, compare the likes of FS and Lendy to decent p2ps!

Rather than the meaty blog, ‘twould be better to report news like yesterday’s What's that got to do with crowdinvesting unless it's a tentative link into a discussion on loss relief & how lenders who make major net P2P loses can use them to legitimately reduce their P2P tax bill in subsequent years?

Because it’s news and t’s a damn sight more interesting than meat gibberish, and is about a construction company and many p2p firms support construction!

The definition of P2P on your FAQ page needs modification to make it relevant to P2P lending. I didn't bother checking the other definitions.

Have I missed something, what is everybody looking at as I can't see a forward link to anything. I did find a Danish website by someone with a similar name but spelt "Jakob" and sure enough there was some p2p stuff albeit very much in preliminary stages - many links not working etc and Zopa is not even there but if that was the right place to go then I can't really get it working on my chrome browser. All looks a bit of a mess so I'm guessing i'm not in the right place or its not for someone like me perhaps. Translations to english don't always make sense. Apologies if I'm not meant to be able to see anything or the website that Jacob is referring to has been pulled for now or is not available. The blog page was very confusing - made me think of the muppets "hurdly gurdly birdly" puppet, sorry can't remember his name. Not sure my Browser translator really worked that well on that page either. There is a site on there that is called lenndy (not lendy) according to scamadviser its decidedly suspect to say the least - its in lithuania apparently. That said it could be legit but I'd be concerned if it was a suspect one. As someone else pointed out the places are probably not useful to uk lenders at present. To be fair if the site below that I found is jacob then it passes scamadvisor. Site I found that might be the one jacob mentions

I'm not sure if trust pilot would be that useful if I'm honest I went there recently for Zopa and it seemed to be mostly positive and worse it was mostly borrowers and very few lenders as far as I could tell. I'm pretty certain it would not be that difficult to cheat this although in this arena I'm not sure who would want to cheat it.
