Has anyone tried Axia Funder? Peer2Peer Finance News had an article on them here. Any litigation experts around?

I hadn't, as this sort of investment doesn't attract me. Warnings include "LOSSES CAN EXCEED INVESTED AMOUNT"!!!

On the bright side it's different, but I'm not sure if it's different in a good way. And with no track record it could be a very painful learning curve.

A had look over it a few weeks back and signed up to see details of cases. I decided there's just too much downside risk for a £500 minimum commitment. I'm interested to watch how others braver than me get on with it, one for the future maybe.

Obviously case details are highly confidential though, so if you want have a look yourself you can sign up, I would not be willing to comment on any specific case.

I've signed up. Can't access details of the existing investment unless you're in it. I might give it a go for diversification if a suitable investment(s) pop(s) up.
Yes, looks fairly high risk, high return. At worst you can lose your capital plus same amount again. Really need to have quite a few investments to spread the risk. Certainly different from anything else I'm in.

If I invest I'd want to be in several cases to spread the risk. Maybe one for the future. Certainly interesting.

could be worth checking sites like MSE forum or a general search as i'm sure over the years litigation "schemes" for want of a better word have had mixed reviews

"JUST ultimately invests in litigation funding to support people who need legal redress against banks, corporations and professional advisors as the cost of litigation these days can be extremely expensive."

There's a loan in funding on the Axia Funder platform if anyone is interested. It's a relatively large loan for them, so there should be time for DD. As usual on this platform, it's high reward for high risk, so make sure you fully understand before investing.
