I had a chat with Cormac when this case was initially raised. His view was that it was very unlikely to impact AF because of the way our cases are structured. I think the gist was, it would only apply to cases if we were paid a fixed percentage of the recoveries. Our cases are generally structured to pay a time based percentage return, so this would not apply. (I may not have got that quite right, but I'm pretty sure that was the gist. Contact Cormac if you're still concerned. I've found him very approachable). Hi, Yes thank you. I had a discussion with him on the topic. True he is really approachable/responsive. Best,

One wee thing I really like about AxiaFunder: when you're requested to transfer money after investing in an opportunity, your cash balance is deducted from the requested sum by default. This makes life much simpler. Different (I think) from my awkward experience with Qardus where they ignore any cash balance when requesting funding. You have to withdraw that money and re-invest (or invest it separately).
It's good to see returns coming in from the housing disrepair cases - but do axiafunder flag the arrival of these returns to investors? I happened to check my account this week and saw I had a cash balance, but I'd had no notification of it. Wondered if I'd opted out or something.

Perhaps, they changed it recently and I just haven't noticed. I'd really like it to be as you describe. I can't find any notice of the July 31st payment, but I have been notified of all other portfolio payouts a day or 2 before the actual payment. I'm guessing that they just forgot to send a notification for this one.

Busy day on Axia, two new loans. One looks to be full already.
Edit: Should have been 'busy' now corrected.

Had me worried for a moment. Sorry to cause panic in the ranks, now as intended, busy day!

There's a small amount available in 4237 as well now, currently £4k, but this fluctuates as reservations are rejected and new lenders come in.

(The opportunity wasn't initially showing for me on the home page but I used the ID to create the URL (https://www.axiafunder.com/invest/housing-disrepair-claims-case-id-4237). One thing I meant to ask: do people tend to transfer funds for their investments immediately? I note sometimes there's a fairly long lead time before opportunities close, and I wonder if I should be less diligent!

The relevant T&C is: It usually takes me a couple of days to transfer the funds from elsewhere (often Loanpad) and get them onto the platform, so they don't seem to rigidly apply the 24 hour rule. I can't remember ever being chased for them.

Down to 1k now. (https://www.axiafunder.com/invest/housing-disrepair-claims-case-id-4237)
Interesting that 4882 is moving so slowly Any ideas why? Normally these things are full in a matter of hours. Maybe just that they put two up in a couple of days and its filed demand for the moment?

Or as you say two big loans together flooded the market, first one filled quickly second one more slowly.

If 4347 was full I would not have put money in 4882 for diversification reason.

I put more in 4237 than 4882 for the same reason (borrower diversification). With 47 days left to fund, 4882 might still fill. It wouldn't really matter if it didn't, as it's already well over its minimum required funding level, so will go ahead regardless. I would expect quite a few repayments from both the 4882 borrower and the other HDR portfolio borrower during those 47 days. Repayments seem to be gathering pace now. I had 4 payments in July. I'd be happy to add any repayments to 4882 if there's still availability.
