AxiaFunder General Update 14/7/2021
Two Cases Resolved Successfully in July
New Litigation Investment Opportunities Available Now
Dear David,
We are pleased to announce that another two cases funded via the AxiaFunder platform have now been successfully resolved. To date we have reviewed over 300 cases and funded 12 cases of which 5 have reached a positive resolution. We have had 0 losses to date. The average IRR on the resolved cases is 55%. For further details on our case performance statistics, please visit our website.
Regarding the two recently resolved cases, the first - a professional negligence claim - was originally funded via the Offer 2312 in December 2019 and additionally via the Offer 3536 in May 2021, has reached a settlement in July 2021. The second - an insurance/professional indemnity claim - was funded via the Offer 3536 in May 2021, has also reached a settlement in July.
Overall, we believe litigation funding as an asset class remains attractive during times of economic uncertainty. The main reason for this is the zero-correlation between litigation funding and the broad economic environment. The demand for litigation funding has potential to grow during times of economic distress due to an increase in business insolvency related claims. Another attractive feature of litigation funding is the zero-correlation between the individual cases themselves. As a result, investing across a portfolio of litigation cases tends to reduce the volatility of returns without lowering the overall expected returns.
Litigation funding opportunities open
We have recently launched two new cases on the platform with funding requirements of £355,000 and £535,000. You can view these investments here. We also continue to have a good pipeline of vetted cases that we are preparing for launch in the coming weeks. The AxiaFunder platform allows investors to view each case before deciding to invest and enabling each investor to construct their own diversified portfolio.

Axiafunder (no spaces)
They are struggling to fund the latest litigation (loan), the required figure is probably a bit high for the number of users. If you've never considered them or similar before, it strikes me as a good diversification, it's higher risk and playing the long game but potentially much higher returns. For anybody who knows something about litigation, which I don't, it could be a good investment. I have a good vibe. Not advice.

The two settled cases mentioned above are due to pay out imminently, so some of those funds might get recycled. Also, the webinar for the available loan mentioned that some institutional funds are considering investing, so I'm hopeful it will get funded. I'm keen to see this one proceed.

Update / Investment time extension. Dear Investor,
Thank you for your interest in Offer 2738: Shareholder Unfair Prejudice Petition. To date, the offer has had a good level of interest with over 90 investors and c £204.5k already committed. The offer has attracted some additional investment following the case webinar hosted last week. For those who could not make it, a confidential recording of the webinar is accessible.
The case funding requirement of £535k is currently c 38% funded. We know of several investors who are still evaluating the case, some of whom, we believe, are likely to invest. We have updated the deadline for the Offer until 26th August 2021. Given the extended deadline, all investors can of course, if they wish, cancel existing commitments and have funds returned to their AxiaFunder wallets for withdrawal.
Best regards,
Cormac Leech
AxiaFunder Director

51% funded, 13 days till offer closing. Yes, it will be a shame if this one doesn't get funded. Especially with its partial capital protection.

Hopefully some funds can be pulled in just to edge it over the line. Also 3634 was only 65% funded but that still went ahead so apparently it isn't the end of the world if it doesn't reach 100%. 51% is a bit on the low side though!

The minimum required for the current case is the full amount.

#2817 investment launch. 29% filled. I've not had an email for this yet. However I also get some very late emails from crowdproperty and I don't get any secondary market emails from landlordinvest any more. These platforms probably use a lot of common cloud email infrastructure. Hard to say if they are related or not, I know the crowdproperty emails are leaving their primary server and getting stuck on an intermediate server, who knows how many get dropped rather than eventually being forwarded.
