It seems a little like Axia are going all in on this.
If you look at how much they have raised for this v everything else they have raised, its turning into a hell of a big percent. If it works it will have made a lot of happy investors and should help boost the company. if it doesn't, ouch.
think I might get a little bit of this one as I have some in the others.

I saw the lack of certainty over the defendants ability to pay the full claim as the higher risk element, rather than the different jurisdiction. All a bit academic now as the loan has filled. I agree on the £500/£1k minimum investment issue, but, as I understand it, we can thank the FCA on that one as they think it makes it less risky. Something along the lines of only those that can afford to lose would invest £1k. Thanks FCA!!!!

I also believe it was the FCA which increased the limit -they are not and never have been investor friendly - as I see it just a bunch of bureaucrats protecting their own backsides....and now their ex leader is I/C of the Bof E.
