Me too. 10 minutes to get a response to "Calculate Return". I've now pressed "Invest" and who knows. Looks like ramblin rose, Come_on_Grandad, and I were all trying to do the same thing. And it looks like we were successful in the end. A large bit of luck, actually. Except that the loan is now overfunded - so I wonder who got in last? Edit: If it wasn't overfunded when you looked, then looks like it was the other lender with a larger amount at the bottom of the list who pushed it over.

Edit: If it wasn't overfunded when you looked, then looks like it was the other lender with a larger amount at the bottom of the list who pushed it over. It definitely wasn't overfunded when I noted that the three of us had managed to get our bids in. In fact, there was £7.40 remaining to be funded, and I wondered whether to try to take that up myself or to leave it for someone else. In the end I decided to leave it. The three bids at the bottom of the list total £700 and probably were placed very soon after our bids, creating the £692.60 of overfunding that is showing now. I trust fundingsecure will be able to see from the website/system records that our bids were in first and that the three bids from the lender at the bottom of the list came in later and therefore are the ones that will have to be unwound.

As you correctly surmise the overfunding was as a direct result of the system-wide issue which affected the connectivity of the web site. We will shortly be correcting the over-funding error - at which time the loan will be 100% funded and the excess returned to the final bidder. We have already been in contact with them to explain the situation and confirm repayment. We do not yet have a full picture of exactly what caused the connectivity problems, as the work continues. However the main issue related to ongoing updates being applied system wide to address the most recent variant of a global bash code injection vulnerability - aka "Shellshock" (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shellshock_%28software_bug%29)This is the latest in a series of vulnerabilities detected in almost all Unix/Linux based systems. Patches continue to be applied as they become available, to counteract more vulnerabilities identified in the same "family". Apologies for any inconvenience the connectivity issues may have caused you. There may continue to be some outages overnight as the work is completed but we expect all systems to be running properly by the morning. FundingSecure

How annoying, still no joy logging in. Logging in fine here - must be intermittent.

I've finally managed to get in.
It might be marginally slower than usual - maybe 20 seconds per page rather than the normal 15!!
FS REALLY need to get the site up to a commercial standard.

<snip> FS REALLY need to get the site up to a commercial standard. Agreed but this has been mentioned for more than a few months now. Looks like more than a couple of folks have managed to get a bigger slice of the caravan - good on them.

OK here too, quite fast as well . Back working for me now. I must say the page loads do actually seem twice as quick as before!! Still slower than any other site I use though!! The problem seems to be if I stay on the site for too long without logging off and get timed out, it won't let me on again for up to an hour.
