Ablrate update today. 'We have not received payment. We have contacted the borrower about today's payment and have been told that it will be made later today'No mention of previous missed payments, so this must mean today's payment brings everything up to date. We are anticipating receiving the monthly payment. We are not anticipating the loans been brought up to date until the confirmation of the funding they are arranging comes through. My comment was sarcastic. Your reply is what should have been in the update. Why is it necessary for us to draw out the correct position ?

Well said! In general, this is one of the issues ABL has not addressed. Communication tends to be reactive rather than proactive. I would prefer if they answer questions before they are asked, provide timely follow up updates before they are requested. The consequences of not doing so leaves lenders venturing accurate or inaccurate guesses about the state of non-performing loans in particular. While I am unable to fathom their communication strategy, they can build a stronger brand connection if they decide to change course.

Too many schedules in this, and the second one is very unwelcome. What sort of successful listing and fundraising leaves the co. unable to remove the key interest-only loans from a serious in-default position?

Well it has just paid some month or other followed by 2 more schedules, the man is plainly mocking you. Edit, Does he not know that is my job?

Clearly he noticed that the admin note sent by someone at 16:48 was really not good enough and gave the borrower a good talking to - whereupon they thought more about planning to miss today's payment till 7th and then having a nice chat sometime about a schedule for getting back up to date when convenient etc. A much better note sent at 18:32. There's a lot going on. This borrower pays those who shout loudest, imo.

I am not getting messages on 120. Are you referring to 124, which I don't hold & cannot access.
