I wouldn’t swap for equity. My intention was to build on Titopuente’s point regarding the unreasonability of a company venturing into an acquisition while not maintaining interest only loans to date. Part of the “security” of a loan is the receipt of the monthly payment (our share of the pie, as I described it), limiting the downside in the event that the company at any stage faces difficulties. Ahh OK. Well I certainly agree with you on that point... and it will be part of the conversation tommorrow for sure. ablrate - what is the outcome of the zoom meeting last Thursday - can we have a (positive ) update please or tell us when one will be made. One hopes that capital repayment was also discussed or is the platform happy that the capital sum will be paid in full when due? Cheers P

I have asked them for an update officially as they also have to take into account the listing and the disclosure requirements. We hope to have that to lenders shortly.

When will the 3 months arrears of interest be paid? (another poster has mentioned cash being spent on acquisitions!!) and 2. What is the plan for capital repayment - is it still in full in 04/21 as scheduled? All other information may be of interest but incidental to the two points above. Others may have different views and that is of course fine by me. If these can be addressed on the next update when it comes please? Cheers P

Any discussion that was not opened with discussion on getting payments up to date was a discussion held by the wrong people arguably, clearly it is a decent business and I am relatively unconcerned about it in the round. A payment is due today and I have no doubt it will be paid but clearly running in arrears is simply maintaining the status quo. Damn...... Alexa play Status Quo

Upda te The borrower has contacted us today to update us in their fund raising. They are expecting funds in this week which would allow them to make up the outstanding payments including the one due today.

'Have spoken to the borrower today, we have been told to expect the payment on Friday 7th. They have confirmed that their financing package has been signed and funds are expected in the next ten days, at which point the loan should normalise with back payments made up. We are to schedule a meeting upon receipt of the funds in order to discuss an in depth update for lenders, including repayment schedule and forward plans. Posted On 04/08/2020 16:48'
It's deja vu all over again.
"If seven maids with seven mops Swept it for half a year, Do you suppose," the Walrus said, "That they could get it clear?" "I doubt it," said the Carpenter, And shed a bitter tear.

A 'chase' sounds weak in the circumstances. Time to let them know which debt is the highest priority for their working capital - Dear Sir, unless ... Clearly whilst at junior school you were not 'chased' home every night by Sharon who wanted to kiss you. The trauma was very real at the time. That I have recovered (and wonder why I ran) is a tribute to the human spirit.
