Presumably there is a grand plan in action given that ablrate is claiming credit in part for the deal being done. If (and it is an if) the purchase does strengthen our achievable asset then I would see it as a positive in many ways. I tend not to be overly bothered about the exit strategy if a loan looks like it is fully recoverable.
That the loan is not being serviced is clearly the main issue for lenders, I would suggest it is rapidly approaching the point that it should rise to the top of the borrowers agenda.
Maybe that is part of the grand plan? If not maybe it should be.

Grand plan? I think the only planning that ablrate can do on this loan, and a good few others, is how often and precisely when to cross the fingers and make a wish or say a prayer.
