MoneyThing I have just tried this out, but I could only put a loan part up for sale at par - it didn't offer any alternatives when I put the amount in the box and on pressing submit it just put the loan part up for sale at par. Is this because I have not signed up to your T&Cs for reasons stated a long time ago? Apologies if someone else has asked (and had answered) this somewhere, only just opened and four page thread already!

My initial impressions are very favourable, and I have just made a test purchase at a range of discounts upto a limit that was effortless. MoneyThing, I think your techies should be congratulated on a job well done.
The only thing that I find slightly irritating is the popup from the 'book' icon needs to be cancelled rather than it being a true 'tool tip' hover action.
Unfortunately I missed the 10% .... I didn't fund my account this morning as I really wasn't expecting anyone to offer discounts above around 2%.

I'm impressed. I've had some loan parts up for sale for over a year, stuck in a queue with multiple £10k's ahead of me. Re-listed them at a small discount and they've been bought in about 1 minute.

Yes - there were one or two bargain very briefly. Only the fast fingered robots managed to get them.

Thanks mrc. Re bold bit - the techie's answer is "It is a popup because we need to put some ajax call logic on it." and "Doesn't have to click close - clicking anywhere else will also close it." Regards, Ed

Like! Well done MoneyThing - now convince your industry peers to get on board. (ps my crusade to have this option also available for defaulted loans will continue! ).

Seems to work well. I've used it to sell some NP non-ISA loans at a discount and buy back into my ISA.

come on Ed let the N.U.L loans go and lets see what happens. Yes please. I'll sell NUL. Market working well for me today. I'm selling to find my ISA (pity it was not last week so I could have funded last year's but never mind) and have managed shift some already at a reasonable discount.

Never going to happen on a non-restricted platform. Enough concerns from FCA with current risk profile and then there are the tax implications of loss relief on recovery loan purchases.

What if it were to be only purchasable through an ISA? Although.... Im sure no sane human would buy more of that NUL loan, however reduced!
